旅行本に載っていたりクチコミも良かったので予約しました。女性一人旅でコスパ良くしたいため評判の良い朝食を付け、トイレは別のシングルに宿泊。週末は高いので平日にしてロンドンから日帰りでなく１時間で来られるので夕方6時過ぎの列車で来てフィッシュを頂いてからホテルへ。ホテル迄はくだり坂、バス停はほとんど目の前にあるので帰りの上り坂はバス利用。翌日は8時からイングリッシュブレックファストを頂きましたが用意まで時間がかかりま味は普通。部屋はベッドは快適でしたがシャワーの排水が良くなく溢れる心配をしながら、ゆっくり出来ませんでした。頭が窓際で4月末でも寒かった。館内はエレベーターは無し。一人旅で2段ベッドが嫌な方は個室なのでその点はよいのでは？ロンドン連泊で費用がかかりますが日帰りでなうあえて宿泊も節約になりそうです。パビリオンは徒歩圏、セブンシスターズ方面のバスもブライトン駅迄行かずともすぐのバス停から出かけられます、後から知りました！ 設備も年季が入っていてやっと稼働している面もありオーナーもお年なのでいつまでかな？と思いました。

予約の際、"シャワートイレ別"という点が少々不安でしたが、 共同ではなく、専用のシャワートイレ部屋をお借りでき、 そちらも広くてきれいだったので、快適でした。 スタッフさんも親しみやすく、朝食も美味しかったです。 また、私が利用していたeSIMでの通信が、ブライトンでは安定しなかったので、部屋で利用できるWi-Fiがセキュリティの高い、強いものだったのもとてもありがたかったです。 ただ、わりと上や隣周りの部屋の音は聞こえる点には留意が必要かと思います。

The staffs are very friendly and offer good services, which made my stay cozy. They kindly received a parcel for me before my arrival. When I told the reception that I planned to leave the hotel early next morning before the breakfast time, they offered me thoughtful options, an early breakfast or a take out bag with fruits and sandwiches. Nothing is more valuable than heart of caring about guest, is it not?

イギリスのホテルならこんなもんかと。ベッドのみでシャワートイレは共同でしたが、部屋は明るいし、窓を開けたら少し海が見えました。ロケーションもまあまあ便利なところでいいと思います。夜は静かでした。 朝食込みで申し込んだのですが、ホールをスタッフの方が一人でまわしているのか、なかなかオーダーを取りに来てくれなくて、待たされました。味はまあまあでボリュームはありました。

Oscar and Herve are amazing. Oscar really truly went above and beyond to help us out after our airline did us dirty. It's a great hotel in a great location and I will definitely be staying again.

I found the location of the New Stein to be good for me. You are in walking distance of the Royal Pavilion, the Brighton Pier and The Laines. It was also easy to get to the Seven Sisters from New Stein - I just had to walk down the end of the street and catch the Coaster 12 bus to the Seven Sisters Visitor Centre. I also found it handy that you could buy breakfast and dinner (limited menu) at the hotel.

The staff were welcoming from arrival, a lovely bright clean room and close to all amenities, wonderful choice for breakfast.

The staff were friendly and responsive but there were a couple of basic things that should’ve been better. The sink was not working in the bathroom (!) and the sink in my bedroom was partially blocked. I mentioned both and they said they would look at the latter but it wasn’t fixed. The door also constantly slams - there is a notice on one side telling guests not to let it do so but it should be on the other side and/or fixed so it doesn’t.

The staff were amazing. We had a late arrival and they were great about that. They also made an early breakfast for us when we had to be out vert early on one of the mornings. The breakfast itself was also very good. Lots of food and very tasty.

Great place in a buzzing spot in Brighton. Easy walk to the sea and into town. People working there were great, very friendly and helpful.

Excellent location next to the seafront, Lovely hotel. I had issue with the room. I suggested the manager have a close inspection in the room 103. Top of the wardrobe was dusty and bit of food scraps. Skirting board with wires covered thick of dust. Wardrobe and bedside table need a good clean. Carpet need a good vacuuming as you can see thick layers of dust by the wardrobe and near the skirting board and the lid of waste bin. It just need a very good deep clean and when i arrived the first day the room smells disgusting and had to have the window open for the next 24 hours and I was wondering if they use the rooms for homeless people.? Cleaners need to work hard on room 103!, otherwise I enjoyed my stay apart from the cleaning issues.
