城館ホテルで、優雅なラウンジでゆっくりできる。結局3泊した。 古い建物なので少々防音に問題はあるが、許容範囲内。 夏休みのピークシーズンでクリーニングサービスなどは臨時のスタッフが多かったのだろうが、訓練がよくい聞き届いていないように感じられた。レストランのスタッフも口の聞き方など横柄（ホスピタリティビジネスの意味を理解していない）。フロント以上のスタッフは問題なし。 朝食はまあまあ、夕食（３コースメニュー、コーヒー・紅茶つき）はお得感がある。メインは実物を見ながら選べるので安心　。町はリゾート地としてきれいにまとまっていて、干潟沿いの、Promenadeからの景色がよい。 Very relaxing lounge. I liked the hotel and therefore extended my stay to 3 nights. A little problem with services: I guess that a lot of temporary help were employed for the peak season, e.g. cleaning staff & restaurant waiter/waitresses: they did not seem to have been trained well and do not what the hospitality business is about. Front personnel and above were professionals. Dinner (3 course menu with coffee/tea) has good value for money. In summary, "recommendable".

部屋は狭く汚く、湖水地方の中心であるウィンダミアへのアクセスも車がなくてはほぼ無理というロケーションでした。

bellissimo hotel vittoriano. è un viaggio nel tempo nell'Inghilterra tradizionale. l'hotel è grandissimo posto in mezzo al verde e il bosco ed è super tranquillo. la struttura offre un ristorante e un bar veramente eccellenti come qualità del cibo e gentilezza del personale. raccomando questo posto assolutamente e ci tornerò!

Great location loved my room as a solo traveller,the grounds and the atmosphere was really nice, great breakfast.

Lovely big old hotel,staff friendly,location 10 mins walk to Grange over sands.

We had an excellent stay. The room was a little tired but exceptionally clean. We had a room with a wonderful view of the sea. The grounds are extensive and beautifully maintained. Bar meals and service were exceptional as was the buffet breakfast. Overall, excellent value for money

The staff were very helpful. When I had a minor issue they went out their way to make sure I had a great stay. The food in the bar is excellent.

Staff were solving the problem straight away.

Overall the stay was OK. Receptionist was not friendly and Wi-Fi connectivity was poor.

The hotel was conveniently placed about 10 minutes walk to the railway station and 15-20 minutes walk into the town. There was plenty of free parking and the hotel is set in nice grounds. The hotel is a grand old building but in places could do with a bit of an upgrade certainly in the rooms where our balcony windows had seen better days. Breakfast was good and a nice hot and cold buffet selection. Plus the service was good. Nice bar area but shut fairly early and apart from Saturday you couldn’t get a drink past about 10.45 pm! all the staff were very pleasant (apart from head bar man who always seemed miserable and couldn’t shut early enough ☹️). Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great staff. Nice bar. Lovely outside. Room walls were very thin, could hear the guy snoring nextdoor. Any conversation in the hallway, I could hear. Not worth what I spent to be honest. It’s not as bad as I’m going to say but inside needs taking apart and rebuilding to more solid foundations. I know what I’m getting at a premier inn or holiday inn. Shame really as the location is immense

Room was clean. View was amazing. Very little room on one side of the bed so getting in and out was tight. Wonky mirror above sink. Bar staff excellent. Restaurant staff efficient. The whole hotel although it had much character had a run-down feeling about it. Enjoyed walking in the grounds and close to town centre. Plenty of room to park.

Its a grand old hotel. It has everything you would need. One of the highlights was having a bedroom with a balcony that looked out over Morecambe bay. Beautiful. If you like somewhere with a bit of character, and a peacock !, this is the place for you ! Thanks Liz

Everything needs updating. Bathroom facilities only satisfaction and the shower was unsatisfactory. The room was dark and the lighting Best thing about it it was the bed comfortable and large.
