Hôtel Bruyant, peu d’insonorisation entres les chambres et le couloir.

Alot of homeless drugaddicts around corner. Elevator gets stuck on 1st floor everytime door opens. Room is clean but low standard. On the good side reception has good service.

The standards of the property are very low. I would never stay there even if they are offered for free.

24 hour front desk. Very quiet, a little noisey in mornings like any hotel. Very close to metro on red line. If coming from airport buy airport ticket plus the city metro (24 hours, 3 days). Change at syntagma.

The hotel is conveniently located at a short distance from the Metaxourgeio metro station. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained. The management is friendly and attentive. I am happy to recommend this hotel.

Location not good and the taxi that the hotel calls for service demands much more in the normal flare. Those who are hurrying to the bus stands to get to the metro station to take the metro bus to the airport don't have the time to argue with the taxi drivers. Previous drivers hired individually by the hotel guests normally pay $5 and in some cases $ 6 but the last driver charged $ 13.00. Other hotels offer free breakfast.

Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel near the Metro in a safe area. The homeless people mentioned by other customers are not on teh street of the hotel, but in an adjacent one. You may never see them. Good service, towels where added every day without having to ask. Room large enough for a family of 3. Cons: The room needs an update: Only 2 power sockets, out of which one too high to plug a phone in without laying it on a suitcase underneath. We had problems with our bathhroom: - Absolutely nothing to lay your stuff on (except your toothbrush in the provided glass). - The sink had a large drain hole, with no protection, presenting a bad danger of dropping an object through it, with no way of retrieving it. . - The x*shower curtain was mounted in an oblique way which caused it to slide away from its usefull position. Overall the quality/ Price ratio was good enough that I would stay there again if I went back to Athens. -

Virkelig godt budget hotel. Har alt hvad man skal bruge, og der er høfligt personale. Ville klart besøge igen.

The location of the hotel was perfect. Many restaurants and coffee shops within 2 blocks, the metro station is only 2 blocks away so it’s relatively easy to get anywhere from the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful, loved them all.

Lähettyvillä katu jossa asunnottomia ja huumeiden käytttöä. Yöllä ei niin mielekäs seutu, taksilla helpoin ja turvallisin liikkua. Ihana palvelu hotellissa! Kävely 15min turistien ja ostosmahdollisuuksien pariin. Auto liikenne tosi raju.

I hate leaving bad reviews, but this place is horrific. The people who work here are lovely, but the place itself is not. The mattress was buldging at one side due to probably being 20+ years old, it didn’t have a mattress protector on & was covered by one sheet, which moved through the night. The HORROR and disgust I felt after seeing the state that lay on the mattress itself. The area is also dodgy with zombie looking drug addicts around every corner, I did not feel safe here nor comfortable with how unclean the place was

Let’s begin with good points, Staff was amazing, they did what they could, professional and friendly. Rooms were kept clean throughout our 1 week stay. We received much help and tips on how and where to go which was amazing. There is plenty of restaurants, pubs and fast foods in the area. Negatives, area outside the hotel looks crispy, its safe but you might feel uneasy when guy you pass by injects something into his vein. Its a big problem throughout whole of Athens, not just this Hotel… View from balcony, nothing they can do about it but really if you a smoker youll end up looking at a 6 story tall grey wall, pigeons gonna keep you company at all times. Paper walls, you can hear too much, so others can hear you as well. Overall don’t be discouraged, go and explore! After all, you get what you pay for :D
