The spa area requires maintenance otherwise excellent

Frühstück war lecker, Service zwar etwas gestresst wenn viele Leute da waren, aber ansonsten Hotel gut und empfehlenswert.

Very comfortable with a lovely view of the beach and great sound of the waves.

Did not use the pool

Gutes Hotel mit kleinem Pool direkt neben dem Strand, gut an den Verkehr angebunden. Nachts (zumindest am Wochenende während unseres Aufenthaltes) recht laut.

No pool available and access to roof top

We were only here one night but the view from the room was beautiful. Gijón has a paseo along the beach that goes on forever. It was very enjoyable to walk and see all the people and all the dogs.

The hotel was nice. The proximity to the beach was great. Half-board option was very convenient for early dinners.

Un hotel muy lindo, pero la gente un poco seca y hasta desconcertante... no entendían el castellano. Obvio, no era el castellano de la región, pero muy extraño.

If you think you would enjoy the pleasure of paying for the following then Hotel ABBA is the place for you!!! Revolving entry door that is broken and a safety hazard...(main entry btw) Poor service at restaurant - may take your menu but not your order Worn, dingy, and dirty carpet in halls & rooms Small rooms Mildew/mold in bathroom A/C thermostat with knob that will not indicate or adjust temp Thumping club music at midnight on Sunday that can be heard as you lay in bed trying to sleep Hotel manager that will not reach out to you to discuss issues

Las infraestructuras del hotel estaban muy por debajo de las expectativas. Reservamos una habitación familiar y nos alojaron en una estándar con cama supletoria donde no podíamos ni movernos, muy incómodo. Al denunciar la situación nos medicaron que el hotel estaba lleno y no había solución. Lo único buenos del hotel era su ubicación.

Para ser un 4 estrellas deja mucho que desear. Nada de insonorización en dormitorio. Y no pudimos aparcar pq no hay plazas suficientes, encima en la zona apenas hay para aparcar.

Abba Playa Gijon Hotel is in a great location a very short distance from the main Gijon beach, with fabulous views from the roof terrace of the beach sea, promenade and old town. Great restaurants and shopping very close by. And free parking in the street outside the Hotel. The swimming pool was a real treat and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Top rating for this Hotel
