アルバーノ湖が見えるテラス付きの素敵なお部屋でした。ただ、駅からはスーツケースをひきずっての山登りでした。お年寄りの方は、ホテルからタクシーのお迎えを手配するなど、事前準備が必要だと思いました。

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment with rooftop terrace. We loved it! What an amazing view. The one bedroom was smaller, but we used it as the master because of the balcony and lake view. The other bedroom was a bit bigger. No complaints though. It made for a great family trip. And the breakfast included was perfect. And those views from the restaurant were fabulous. Would recommend.

Fantastic hotel for a relaxing stay: speechless view over the lake, great breakfast at the nearby restaurant, just next to the Pope residence. Don’t miss to visit one of the lake beaches nearby. Highly recommended place to stay.

The hotel is a jewel in the heart of historic Castel Gandolfo. Our Superiore room was spacious, well equipped, and had a long balcony with a breath taking view of Lake Albano. The included breakfasts in the Bucci restaurant were wonderful. Equally delightful was the cheerful and helpful staff, especially the manager, Daniel. On our arrival on a rainy evening after a long flight from the US, we were disappointed that a local restaurant where we had a reservation was closed. Daniel walked us to another restaurant which he recommended for a delightful meal. Throughout our stay, he conversed with us about the history and culture of the area. We highly recommend Hotel Castelgandolfo.

Staff were the best anywhere. They were very helpful with information and anything needed. The hotel is not new or fancy but the authenticity and experience was beyond compare. There was a lot to see and do even for off season. Just a short train ride to Rome and then connections to Pisa, Naples, or other destinations. My husband and I have no complaints.

The accommodations were very comfortable and the staff was very courteous. Incredible views of the lake from the balcony and the restaurant with a delicious breakfast. Cute little town. Would definitely recommend.

Great little find and fabulous location. Nice views and next door to the Popes summer home. Very easy 5 min walk to train and straight into Rome in 35 mins.

Frühstück hervorragend. Apartment groß und Aussicht super. Nur Bett quetscht zu viel. Ansonst würde ich 5 Sterne geben.

there is a 15 euro city charge on top of the bill that we were not aware of. the view from the terrace is amazing and the area is worth a visit.

Se l’hotel fosse 3 stelle ed il prezzo di conseguenza lo avrei valutato molto meglio. Comunque personale estremamente disponibile, vista lago grandiosa, colazione ottima ma non disponibile buffet interno

L hôtel est d époque mais très bien entretenu. J’ai pris une chambre avec vue sur le lac, le matin c’est juste magnifique. Le vrai plus, c’est le personnel qui est très très chaleureux et surtout j’ai ressenti que ce n’était pas forcé. Bref je recommande sans hésiter
