古い建物ですが、清潔でヨーロッパらしい趣のあるお部屋です。 とにかく1番の中心である像の噴水広場の角にあり、とても便利な場所です。 建物には階段しかないので、大きなスーツケースは自力で持って上がらなければなりません。

便利な所で移動するのに良かったです。受付のおじさんは感じが良かったです。

夜遅くのチェックインでしたが、気持ちよく迎えていただきました。 スーツケースも日本でいう3階まで上げてくれました。 朝食は広場にあるバールでチケットを見せてパンとコーヒーを 頂くようになっています。観光には最高のロケーションですが、 駅までが歩きで１７分ほど。バスターミナルまでは３-４分ですがバスを探すのが大変だと思います。タクシーはホテルが呼んでくれます。

古いことやシャワースペースの狭さは直ぐには直せないかもしれないが、タオルは新しいと良い。

広場に面したバルコニーのある部屋を予約しましたが、別の部屋になっていたので2日目以降は部屋を変えてもらうことができました。バルコニーからの眺めは最高で、ホテルの古さを差し引いて評価は普通とします。

私の部屋の窓からはドゥオーモや広場が見えたので、部屋に居ても楽しかった。 スタッフが、エレベーターが無いからと言って荷物を３階（日本の４階）まで運んでくれました。 私は階段が平気ですが、苦手な人には４階は大変かもしれません。スタッフは感じが良いです。 朝食は隣のバールに行って、コルネットとカプチーノなど、ドゥオーモを眺めながらいただきます。 窓から見える夜のドゥオーモもステキで、ずっと見ていたい程でした。

CATANIAの一番の観光地であるDUMO広場に面したホテル。 到着時間が13時ごろで早かったためか、フロントの人は感じがよく、 チェックイン時には部屋を見せながら選ばせてくれ、サービスの水などをくれた。 また、エレベータがないんだよねと言いながら、部屋まで荷物をあげてくれた。

ヨーロッパらしさに溢れるホテルです。 エレベータ、広いバスルーム、近代的な設備が必須と思われる方は郊外のチェーンホテルへ。 何より窓を開けると、目の前にPiaaza del Duomoが広がっているのですから。朝食は1階のCaffe del Duomoで。私は追加費用を払って、ブリオッシュにピスタチオのジェラートをこんもり挟んだのを、いただきました。

Awful stay. Aircon leaks like a dripping tap if you have it on. We had to put the bin under it to catch the water that ran down the door frame. At night the temperature display is so bright it lights up the room, if you turn it off the room smells stale. Pillows were like trying to sleep on a brick. Only saw one member of staff, at the front desk, and they were very unapproachable and unfriendly Nice location, central for everything but noisy late into the night with old windows/frames Traditional style room with lots of dark wood furniture Wouldn’t stay again, more like 2 star than 3 stars when compared to everything else we have stayed in across Italy & Sicily

Lovely sized room with an amazing view of the square. Excellent soundproofing, good facilities. Walking distance of the train station and great for transport links.

Excelente ubicacion

I’m not sure who left the positive reviews on this hotel, but I have a feeling it was probably the owners family, employees or friends. This place was a dump. I left after 2 out of the 4 nights that I reserved for. First the positives. Then location was top notch. My balcony looked over the Duomo so I had views of all the action. The windows were double pained so with the use of my noise canceling earbuds, the noise didn’t bother me at all. The balcony was small but very enjoyable. Now for the cons. This hotel looks like something a foreign journalist would stay in if they were visiting one of the world’s most dangerous countries. Our room looked like someone attempted to decorate it with a super limited budget. The walls were painted orange but had big black smear marks in several places. The bed was very flimsy and made creaking noises every time I moved. My pillow smelled awful. I looked in the pillowcase and saw that it had an old foam insert wrapped with some kind of batting. The blanket in the wardrobe was falling apart. The bathroom was sub par and smelled like sewage. The air conditioning in the room was old and not adjustable. The hallway was not air conditioned so it was uncomfortable trying to climb the stairs in the heat. The common toilet was grossly stained. This hotel would be good for people who want a cheap price and doesn’t have to have comfort. But if you want a nice place to stay in Catania, this will not be the place for you.

Quarto grande localizado bem na piazza Duomo, de onde se pode caminhar para todos os pontos de interesse. Obviamente o prédio é bem antigo porque fica no centro histórico. Tem bastante barulho da rua, especialmente pela manhã quando os funcionários da limpeza urbana começam a trabalhar. Eu passei três noites e não tenho reclamações, só o fato de ter cortina de plástico no box.

Fantastic location right by the Duomo and Elephant Square. Hotel itself is slightly faded splendour but clean and comfy and staff were helpful. Bit of a drag having no lift and a room on the 3rd floor but staff carried our bags up for us.

The staff was very friendly even helped me out with my luggage since it was quite heavy. They didn’t speak English but it’s alright I used google translate so all was shorted out. My only issue is that it was advertised that my room would have a Duomo view and it didn’t which was a very unpleasant experience as I booked the place only because of that reason. Overall no issue!

Great location, close to all the main attractions. I wish I could have stayed longer!

The staff was extremely helpful. Location is best in town.
