The rooms are very tired could do with a revamp and Bathroom and Toilet need upgrade.

Hotel was ok but in desperate need of a upgrade, and very noisy of a morning with alot of rooms being used by workers

Greeting wasnt friendly at all. Freezer door wasnt on properly .lighting wasnt that good. Bathroom door was very narrow.location was good . Needed a few powerpoints near the bed on other side .

The property itself was lovely but the property manager was a little standoffish

The bed was very comfortable. The room facilities were basic but they were comfortable. The staff were helpful. Good location to walk to the Main Street

Hotel room was very clean, but old. Great for the price and had everything that you needing. Loved the biscuits.

Receptionist was rude

This place is due for a long overdue upgrade. Light fittings either didnt work or had globes missing, the water damage to the bathroom door skirting, lack of advertised TV channels , light switches in weirdest places for bathroom ( in the coffee making area). It was mainly clean, but would not recommended for a longer stay.

We liked the area and the look of the Lodge. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice and hot. The rooms just need a good clean and a spruce up. All the curtains need a backing for the light and heat.. The fan and Air-conditioner need a service as both very noisy. Undercover car parking would be great too.

Good facilities

Our upgraded room was satisfactory, but aged. The bed was very soft and difficult to sleep in as it sagged in the middle. The bathroom was quite small. Outside lighting shone through a window above the door. This had to be blocked prior to going to bed. The window curtain barely covered the window at night, requiring pegs to hold it shut.

For the price - it’s comfortable and at $100 per night with a great location it’s an under tapped property. And I would recommend it on these things alone. But needs a good clean and a renovation as the unit was old and dated.

Disappointed to book here. I wasn’t expecting much but the greeting was unfriendly. Found out later breakfast packs were available then to find that the office was closed. Why wasn’t this mentioned at check in. Simple things that can make people come back. Sorry, I won’t be coming back here

Unfortunately the owner of this motel is not interested in fixing broken tiles in the bathroom area, fix the door lock as needed. It is out of the hands of the managers as we were told the owner will not respond to these much needed jobs

good location,,clean, nice pool, grand old house attached which looks so good dislike is being asked for credit card details, when the room has been prepaid. If a Hotel or motel doesn't trust its guests in case they break a plate or similar, why should the guest trust the hotel with his credit cards details. sorry, but I loved the place but this policy prevents a return or recommendation to others.

Bland reception Dated Decor Tiny bathroom Poorly cleaned older style shower recess. Shower head broken, would not stay in place making it difficult to shower (NB, -It was replaced the next day ) black mould inbetween grout, yellow scum on white tiles made it feel unclean & uninviting.
