スタッフの対応がいい。

4階に宿泊しましたが、ちょうど工事を行っており、カーテンを開けると工事業者の人と目が合うような状況で昼間もカーテンを開けることが出来ませんでした。また、部屋に冷蔵庫が無く、冷たいものを飲むことが出来ない（自動販売機も無く、ロビー横のバーで購入するしかない）、スーパーマーケット等で購入してきたものについても封を開けたものはすぐに消費しなければならないなど不便が多かったです。

目的地までには徒歩も可能な点が一番の理由で、選びました。場所柄、朝食付にしましたが、夜も併設のレストランで食事をいただくことができたのは便利でした。同僚の部屋がバスタブ付だったのに比べて、私の部屋はシャワーのみだったのが残念でした。障害者の方が泊まれるような設備が施されている部屋でそのためにバスタブがなかったのかもしれません。でも、そのようなリクエストをしたわけではなかったので、その点だけが残念でした。

ツインルームでベッドは二つということだったのに ダブルベッドと簡易ベッドにはがっかりでした。予約時点で確保しておくのが常識だと思うのですが。フロントに電話しましたが、ないから仕方ないですねとあっさり。イギリス各地を周りましたが朝食付きの設定もなく大変不便を感じました。

Hotel of good standard but improvments needed with breakfast....tables not cleared..no cups...bread for toast...but not staffs fault...it just lacked leadership which comes down to staff training...only one lift working the whole of our stay...our room was very dark...window SHADED OUT AS SCAFFODING OUTSIDE...WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO BE STUCK IN A ROOM IN ALL THIS AMAZING WEATHER ANYWAY WOULD BE A FAIR COMMENT BUT WE SPENT OUR EVENINGS BACK AT HOTEL...just a bit depressing but worst things happen at sea...fridge not working either but fixed as soon as reported...

Check in was fine, however the car park was a 5 minute walk from reception. Only one lift was working in the hotel. The TV in my room did not have standard channels, a member of staff (I think) came and looked at it and couldn’t fix it. I was told it would be fixed the following day. The next day when returning the TV had not been fixed. After waiting 3 hours they eventually moved me to another room

The staff, the hotel, the food and the accommodation were all exemplary. I'll be using Crowne Plaza at IHG again wherever I can.

Staff were really helpful

We had not been told that there are major renovations taking place on the property. There was dust and debris everywhere. We had to request proper room service daily. The air con was not efficient. The restaurant staff were friendly and the breakfast was satisfactory.

Below average 4 star. But the bed was comfortable

Met with very rude reception staff, assumed manager as he carried on his staff training for 5 mins whilst ignoring we were stood waiting to check in. Ordered food and got £20 dry chicken and chips. Although rooms appear nice and refurbished woke up with what seems 2 bites on feet. Very odd place and not the feel of a crown plaza at all. Very unprofessional and random in most aspects.

Breakfast was poor. Poor quality ingredients. Tables unclear. No cups or cutlery. When trays had run out they were not replaced and no staff around to ask. Was very expensive for such a poor breakfast

Our room had stubbed out cigarettes on the balcony table. I made reception aware but they remained there. The hotel wasn’t able to issue room key cards so we always needed an escort to our room - this seemed to be a huge inconvenience to staff, and their faces showed this. We spent lots of time waiting for someone to let us into our room. Breakfast was cold and poor quality. I would not stay here again.
