The young lady at check-in was very nice and helpful. She advised us some restaurants, was efficient and welcoming. The lady at check out wasn’t! We have a small dog and during check in, I gave a $150 deposit. No problem at all for me. It is quite usual for hotels to do that. Unfortunately, my little dog had a small accident (chihuahua). My fault. I cleaned it up properly.
The lady kept my $150 deposit. And she told me that we shouldn’t have given this room because it was not a pet room! Not my fault. Their fault. They knew I had a dog because they asked for a deposit. She told me that it was the young lady’s fault because she is new. Not my fault and not my responsibility to train her. I recognize that my dog shouldn’t have peed on the floor and I agreed to pay for the cleaning. But we should have had a pet-room and they made a mistake. Therefore I asked for sharing the responsibility. I was ok to pay $75. She didn’t want to and kept my $150. It is not right at all. By the way, when I cleaned up my dog’s pee, my rag was black!!!!! Dirty carpet!!! Very bad experience with somebody who has no commercial skills!
