マンチェスターの地理感がわからないまま予約しました。こじんまりとして、落ち着いた宿ですが、基本的に、車旅行者向けです。

マンチェスター郊外のエクルズ駅(各駅停車で階段のみ)から、大きな荷物を持っての移動(10分程度)は大変でした。 建物が古いのか、隣・階上部屋での人の動く音(ドアの開閉・歩く軋み等)が聞こえて、我々も静かな動きで過ごしました。 3泊しましたが朝食のメニューが全く同じで、イギリス人の頑固さを朝食で感じました。(日本の旅館でも同じか！)

マンチェスター市街地からは離れており、閑静な住宅地にロケート。　ヴィクトリア調（？）のレトロな建物と部屋が落ち着けて良い。　但し、午後は5時までオフィスが無人となり、タクシーを呼べず。付近に空タクは走っていない。結局しばらく歩いたところのスーパー付近まで行ってタクシーをつかまえ、ホテルへ引き返して家族をのせた。暇人向きのホテル。

Room was clean, staff were friendly and is not too far from town centre/supermarkets If you plan on parking you may have to go early as there’s only a few spaces and it’s quite a tight squeeze

This hotel is very cheap, so I didn't expect much. Free parking, but tight to get to behind hotel. Room was tired, in need of decoration. Bed was comfortable, hotel was quiet. Can't complain for £47.

Very comfortable bed, I love the lovingly old fashioned décor. And the owner/receptionist was incredible friendly.

Room spotless and located in a nice area of Manchester.

The rooms were clean and staff were friendly. Rooms are nicely decorated with useful toiletries such as shampoo, shower gel and cotton buds. Hairdryer, kettle and tea and coffee was available in room which was also useful. The room was cosy and bed was comfortable however we were in a room with a door that led to another, the host did show us the room and informed us about this however we were able to hear the people staying next door quite easily due to this as it sounds like their bathroom was the other side of the door/wall. Parking is available however it can be difficult to find an actual space if arriving late. Nonetheless the stay was good and was definitely budget friendly, would recommend .

Very helpful on arrival. As I needed a taxi.Confused information re breakfast and check out time. Pre arrival info said basic breakfast included and checkout time of 11am. On arrival breakfast not included and told checkout 10am. Then in room info said check out10.30am

Lovely little hotel, excellent value and ideal location for getting the tram into Manchester. Would definitely stay again.

A little bit to cold to have a shower but for the price its good 👍
