マンチェスターの地理感がわからないまま予約しました。こじんまりとして、落ち着いた宿ですが、基本的に、車旅行者向けです。

マンチェスター郊外のエクルズ駅(各駅停車で階段のみ)から、大きな荷物を持っての移動(10分程度)は大変でした。 建物が古いのか、隣・階上部屋での人の動く音(ドアの開閉・歩く軋み等)が聞こえて、我々も静かな動きで過ごしました。 3泊しましたが朝食のメニューが全く同じで、イギリス人の頑固さを朝食で感じました。(日本の旅館でも同じか！)

マンチェスター市街地からは離れており、閑静な住宅地にロケート。　ヴィクトリア調（？）のレトロな建物と部屋が落ち着けて良い。　但し、午後は5時までオフィスが無人となり、タクシーを呼べず。付近に空タクは走っていない。結局しばらく歩いたところのスーパー付近まで行ってタクシーをつかまえ、ホテルへ引き返して家族をのせた。暇人向きのホテル。

Room spotless and located in a nice area of Manchester.

The rooms were clean and staff were friendly. Rooms are nicely decorated with useful toiletries such as shampoo, shower gel and cotton buds. Hairdryer, kettle and tea and coffee was available in room which was also useful. The room was cosy and bed was comfortable however we were in a room with a door that led to another, the host did show us the room and informed us about this however we were able to hear the people staying next door quite easily due to this as it sounds like their bathroom was the other side of the door/wall. Parking is available however it can be difficult to find an actual space if arriving late. Nonetheless the stay was good and was definitely budget friendly, would recommend .

Very helpful on arrival. As I needed a taxi.Confused information re breakfast and check out time. Pre arrival info said basic breakfast included and checkout time of 11am. On arrival breakfast not included and told checkout 10am. Then in room info said check out10.30am

Lovely little hotel, excellent value and ideal location for getting the tram into Manchester. Would definitely stay again.

A little bit to cold to have a shower but for the price its good 👍

Friendly, quick one night stay. No breakfast required so couldn't comment on that. Plenty of hot water and all facilities in room.

Absolutely loved staying at this hotel. It’s so homely and I love the decor, layout and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious.

Amazing. The host let us check in early as we had an oasis concert. The bed was so comfy and amazing location. 10/10

Property is excellent value for money paid

Staff were great. Lovely room but with the weather being hot at the moment a fan in the room would have been perfect.

This hotel is a hidden gem. The service was brilliant and room was very comfortable. They couldn't have done anymore to make us welcome and will definately book again.

Lovely stay at Ascotts. Its a budget friendly stay, was clean and tidy and the host was very very friendly.

Fantastic. The Ascott hotel is wonderful, and I had a lovely stay. The owner was very welcoming on arrival, and my single room with an ensuite bathroom was immaculate. For my first stay in Manchester, this was a great location, close to some excellent shops and bars, and 10 minutes' drive to Salford Quays. I would most definitely book this hotel again.

Inappropriate car park access. Door bell doesnt work. Cancelled my booking and wasnt informed… ended up finding out after getting there.

Super room and comfy bed, home from home. No Takeaways allowed in the room and an early checkout of 10 a.m. with a check in at 4 .p.m. shows a lack of flexibility in these modern times. Decent value with an optional breakfast. Well positioned on a regular bus route.

The accomodation was exactly what we needed. The host was friendly and helpful. The room and property was lovely. No complaints at all.
