とても快適な宿泊になりました。特にスタッフが親切に対応してくれました。アップグレードしてもらったせいかもしれませんが、部屋やバスルームも広くて清潔でした。

駅から思いの外近かった。レセプションまで階段しかないのが、残念。部屋は広く、1人には勿体ない気がした。ベッドの脇に柱があり、慣れないうちは少し邪魔だった。1Fにレストランがあり、並びも飲食店なので便利だが、夜はそこのテラスの声が、人によっては気になるかもしれない。

Stayed in this hotel quite few times never disappoints in a great area to right on canal street will always be our fave!

Absolutely fantastic room and staff, a warm welcome and great location. Great that breakfast is delivered to your room as a standard, but not one to get excited about, it was a disappointing continental as far as continentals go and definitely not worth the money I'm afraid. Wouldn't stop me from staying again though, everything else was brilliant

Our stay here was very good the bed is mega comfy, the hotel is very clean and the service from the staff is very friendly

The room was not worth the £138 per night. Barely enough room to swing a cat and it did not include breakfast. Was woken at 04:00 and 04:30 by a bin lorry emptying the glass bin.

Amazing room with friendly helpful staff

My husband and I booked a 1 night stay as we were watching a comedian at O2 Apollo. It was a very direct, simple 20min walk to the venue. Being right on the canal was a beautiful setting. We stayed on a Thursday eve and it was busy, but the noise was not heard in our room, which was fab! Bed was so comfortable. A very compact room, but had everything we needed (we stayed in a cozy kingsize). The welcome drink of prosecco was a great touch too. Loved the minibar option too (we did not purchase, but appreciated the option nonetheless).

Basic rooms, more akin to a lower rated hotel

Amazing room, very clean and spacious. Amazing service. Would recommend and would stay here again when in Manchester.

Der var ingen dør til toilettet - den var pillet af. Kaffe maskinen virkede ikke. Havde udsigt til stillads. Her lå en vatpind i bruseren. Bruserhåndtaget var i stykker og sad ikke fast. Til den pris, havde jeg forventet langt bedre. Noget positivt - seng var behagelig.

Very comfortable stay

Lovely hotel with a very comfortable bed and pillows, only issue was with the electric windows in room, only two of them worked so was very warm a stuffy. There is heating/air conditioning but doesn’t let you go below 17 degrees so wasn’t working too well with it being a hot day. Was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was with it being on such a busy street on a Saturday night. Would definitely stay again with it being in such a great location and easy cheep parking in the area as well.

Lovely hotel, absolutely brilliant location. We received a lovely welcome and told about the room. The room itself was fabulous, well decorated and a pleasant place to spend time. The TV was huge, and the bed was extremely comfortable. well stocked mini bar, an Illy Nespresso style machine and great views made the stay even better. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend Velvet to anyone looking for a great hotel within walking distance of the bets bits of the city.

I have stayed here many times for convenience for work and celebrations with my husband and friends. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Definitely will be coming back. I had a up expected upgrade which was so nice to receive.
