宿泊場所がソブリンヒル施設内にあったので、観光ができたのですが、夕方からサッカー観戦していたので観光ができませんでした、翌朝は営業準備のため立ち入り禁止です。

The room was very tidy just very small for a larger size family (2 adults, 4 kids under 8). Unfortunately this is the biggest room available. Outside of that it was honestly a perfect stay for what our needs were. Being able to access Sovereign Hill from a side gate was amazing and being able to come & go meant we didn’t need to carry as much with us. The buffet style breakfast is also well worth the money, lots of options and all really yummy (aside from the coffee machine, this needs an upgrade for sure 😅) highly recommend if you are wanting to visit sovereign hill!

Second time staying at Sovereign hill hotel, it’s in a perfect location, easy access to sovereign hill next door The only two faults is the TV in the room is shocking, the sound is so muffled we didn’t even watch it in the end And the housekeeping for the 2nd day wasn’t great, the beds looked like my kids made them and the dirty dishes were left in our room Heater works great but is loud overnight

Great stay overnight while visiting the Sovereign Hill Winter Wonderlights! Super convenient location and easy to access via the dedicated gate. Spacious room and bathroom and our son loved the bunk bed! Loved the little outside patio area too. Thin walls so could hear the tv in the room next door. Staff were super helpful and lovely. Would stay again.

Room is always clean & fresh. Parking is close to rooms . Heating was sufficient for the room & heating in the bathroom is a major bonus & useful .

In our room there was only one PowerPoint for a family with multiple phones and tablets sharing one PowerPoint. Disappointed that shower had a curtain as water went everywhere. Great location for sovereign hill village and easy access. At times not enough parking. Breakfast appeared to be expensive for children as well

Easy check in, comfy bed, clean room (with the exception of the bathroom). Cleaners need to focus on the shower as that was not very clean at all. Will be sending photos. Breakfast buffet was ok, not worth $35 per head. Would be great if they kept up with the demand as we had to keep going to check if they had refilled some items. Ie: no eggs. Other than that we’re happy with our stay.

Great location and wonderful private access from accommodation to sovereign hill. Rooms we were expecting to be basic, but really they could do with new mattresses on the main bed! I’d say they are old as the hotel but they haven’t kept their charm like the beautiful hotel has! I actually ended up sleeping in the kids bunk bed because it was a better mattress. Other than this it has everything you need, the old vibes, great staff, great location and warm on a winters day.

Great experience. Lovely room. Will plan to visit again.

Closest to sovereign Hill ! Walk in walk out! Reasonably priced.

We had no phone to contact reception. There was no toaster as they said its a hazard, but yet there was a hair dryer. You could here people in the next room clearly, as if they were in our room. The walls were filthy dirty. There was no couch to sit on.

The room was really nice & clean , this was a great place to visit Sovereign Hill but also a great location to visit other places in and around Ballarat.

The room and reception staff were good, but the breakfast was below our expectations.
