We had a good overnight stay, the pool was nice and pool towels provided. We ate at the adjoining restaurant, the meal was lovely! You have to pay and order at the counter which unfortunately wasn't explained when we were shown to our booked table. The rooms did have a strong wood polish smell. A gorgeous sunset view from our room, facing the main street. Mirrors in the bedrooms would be helpful, the only one was in the bathroom, but overall was a good place to stay.

Staff were excellent, rooms clean and the central location was handy.

This is a resort out where you wouldn't expect to find one. Beautiful pool and tropical setting. Bar and restaurant are in a building separate of the rooms. Everyone on staff was nice and helpful. They have 2 bedroom apartments. Some for families and others for groups without children. The family units are on the first floor and face the streets and are more utilitarian (easier to clean and less to break or mess up). The ones on the second floor are nicer. Cooktown is small but interesting. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would have stayed much longer if we'd had the chance. As expected, this place does have some unique quirks but it's in the tropics and it's humid, so expect the heat and moisture to take a toll on things. If you let them know there's a problem with your room they'll do their best to adress it. This place is a lot like a small Worldmark or Wyndham property.

Great pool, okay apartment. The check in was a bit average, we didn’t really get a welcome vibe. The pool was lovely though. Very expensive for what the room was, guess because of the location, maybe the time of year. Had a great dinner at the RSL across the road.

Very nice stay, we asked for a room on a higher floor and were given an upgrade to a delux room which was much appreciated, lovely comfy bed, excellent bathroom and all the amenities you would want

Very nice stay, clean and comfortable.

Main concern was that window shutters did not close and several slats were missing. Although were able to change rooms it was at a higher level, closer to main street traffic noise and with a shared ibnstead of personal balcony. Pool, garden areas and dining facilities were excellent. Very central position in the town.

Way overpriced. Should have been a $200 room at the maximum. Fauly re.ote. no staff after 7pm
