The hotel was awesome, they even called after we checked out for items that we had left behind. Definitely going to stay next year when we come back.

I love a Hampton Inn and this one did not disappoint. We were greeted with smiles from every employee we encountered, the room and common areas were clean. Breakfast was plentiful and refreshed often.

Our stay at the hotel was nice. There was a park close by the river with a walking path. The pool was clean and the breakfast was delicious.

Lovely staff, very clean, ample parking and a nice walk over Connecticut River to downtown. It was quiet and comfortable, but the room doors slam very heavily.

like the location easy parking. Staff was very friendly and nice to interact with. we could have used a chair on our room other than an office chair. Otherwise the room was great.

Close to downtown

Great location near downtown Hartford, and easy access to the highway leading to the golf tournament which brought me to town. I will absolutely stay here again!

My daughter and I had a fine one night stay. Room was spacious and clean. Excellent free breakfast in the morning with plenty of options to eat. Only negative was when my daughter attempted to take a shower our first evening there. There was no water pressure or hot water. I went to the front desk and they promptly sent a worker to look at it. He assessed the situation and mentioned another worker must have previously shut it off accidently. Why, I don't know. He left and made a quick return with the proper tools to correct the issue. Everything was fine after that. I read reviews after that said this problem has been going on for quite some time. I'm surprised management hasn't gotten a handle on this. A very nicve stay other than that.

The manager, Mercy Was very condecendig ,she came yelling at us as we atempted to bring our children to the pool ,she was vey nelligerent in her actions i believe ,because we are african american, just as I retuned to the inn I was immediatly met in the hallway and asked to sign a pool agreement paper,this to me was very unprofessional then Mercy proceeded to come yelling right in front of some caucasian guests who were standing at the desk with about 12-15 children ,I was very embarrassed and felt my stay was ruined at this point ,I feel Mercy could have handled this in another manner , ,this is the reason im writing this reviewI frel something should be done about this ,furthermore shebeinf the manager should not ever be allowed to treat other guests of color in this way again,she lacked customer service skills frankly i was appalled,this could make me hesitant of staying at any Hampton inn and any products with the name , sincerely Deborah Greene

Love the staff and cleanliness of the place. Always a welcoming place to stay. Very comfortable also. My first choice always!

Wonderful experience! The room was super spacious and clean. Breakfast was good too! The staff was great too!

Clean and comfy

As a traveler, I have preferred staying at the Hampton hotels, but this one was a little subpar for me. Most of the staff that I had interacted with were friendly while a couple others, not so much. On the plus side, hotel was clean and well kept. Room was immaculate when I arrived though one of the keycards didn’t seem to want to work. The breakfast buffet was to be expected, decent spread and moderate quality. Overall, this was an okay stay. Other Hamptons that I have stayed at have had better quality in customer service and breakfast buffet, but this stay was passable on my checklist.
