人気がありすぎて、併設のレストランが渋滞を起こし入れなかったのが減点。シングルベッドルームは、天井が低く狭かったが、おしゃれで清潔。

スタッフの方もとても優しく、お部屋の清潔さや水回りの設備も十分すぎるほどだと思います。 朝食もオーダーなので出来立ての温かいブレックファストが頂けたので嬉しかったです。

ゆっくり出来た滞在でした。

Initially had a room with difficult access for my disabled husband but they managed to move us to a more accessible room with good amenities for him.

Rooms spotless with lovely cosy bedding! Room nice and warm! Bathroom like new and very modern! Would definitely recommend! Breakfast was gorgeous!

Great, historic but modern hotel. Our room was in the adjacent house and very large, very modern, very nice bathroom. Good location to walk the area and the castle. Parking is available for a fee

Fabulous location

Everything was so lovely. Room really clean, staff really helpful and food was amazing!

My friend and I had a fabulous stay at the Black Boy. We received a very warm welcome, the staff were helpful, kind and courteous. Our room and all the public areas are well maintained and spotlessly clean. The shower was great, bed comfy and we were able to adjust the radiator to suit the temperature we like. Breakfast was great, hot dishes cooked to order. We absolutely loved that all the fires were lit and it felt really cosy on a cold winters day. We stayed in the original building, it was really quirky and very authentic. We would definitely recommend and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Lovely location, tricky parking and carrying luggage to the house/lodge rooms.

Excellent location. The Black Boy in was welcoming and warm. Room was immaculate. Had evening meal and breakfast there both very high quality . All staff were efficient and friendly.
