towels smelled bad both in a room

スタッフはフレンドリーでよかったのですが週末の忙しい日はキャパオーバーなのかオーダーミスがあり催促したら舌打ちされました。

ビーチの景色が最高でした

美しい海と明るいスタッフの笑顔に毎日癒されました。 風が強く波も高く、島の周りの浅瀬では思っていたほどシュノーケルできなかったのが少し残念です。波の高さは時間にもよるのかなとは思いましたが。 浅瀬は本当に浅いので水中に浮かぶのが難しいくらいです。船で連れってもらうシュノーケルはすごく深いところで、ライフジャケットもなかったので少し怖かったです。 島から見る海が本当に綺麗で、サングラスをかけるのがもったいないほどでした。 ヴィラに泊まりましたが、レセプションやレストランがあるエリアから少し離れていて、少し不便かなと思うこともありました。でも、静かで落ち着いているのは良かったです。ただ、お部屋の前のビーチはヴィラよりもバンガローのほうが泳ぎやすそうでした。 レストランの食事は、種類は少ないけど美味しかったです。日中のアクティビティに参加すると、食事の際に表彰状がもらえました（笑） 夜は何もする事がないのかと思っていたら、他の宿泊者の方々とダンスしたりゲームしたり、色々と催しがあって楽しむことができました。 また機会があればぜひ行きたい場所です。

宿泊代金をケチってブレではない方に泊まりましたが、部屋が狭く、ベッドルームのみで、ハンモックもありませんでした。 朝食が付いていましたが、パンとシリアルとフルーツ、飲み物のみで卵料理は有料でした。 昼食と夕食は、リゾート価格であまり美味しくないです。私は、肉類が獣臭くて食べられませんでした。 ただ、おそらくどこも一緒なので、食事が心配な方は、食事を持って行った方が良いと思います。 ロケーションは、南国の雰囲気があって、スタッフの人柄も良かったです。 ただ、大方、天候に左右されると思うので、それを期待される方は、ベストシーズンと呼ばれる時期に行った方が失敗はないと思います。すごく綺麗な海が観れるかは、天候による運かと思います。

Pros: Location was beautiful, quiet, and serene. The beachfront bures were the way to go. They face out to the ocean and you can catch the sunset from the corner of the beach. The villas were a much farther walk and we were glad to not have booked those rooms.

Staff were all so nice and made sure we had the best holiday. Perfect place to relax!

Whilst the view from the room and space within the room was good, that’s about all that was good. Breakfast food average, usually cold. Tables not cleared until covered in flies.Asking for such things at breakfast like orange juice or water seemed to hard. Dinners not value at all. Toilets on the entire island not working on 2 days until mid morning. No hand sanitiser available anywhere even though no water available to wash hands. Not 4 star

Simply Paradise

I totally recommend

Having stayed at Tokoriki adult resort in the past, Matamanoa is definitely equal to and potentially better. We had a beach bure with pool and the room and location was amazing. The staff were all wonderful and the food was excellent especially given the remote location. The dive shop we late r found out has restrictions on which sites they can go to which days and they only get told the day of/night before so this makes it difficult as you say yes to five but then end up going to same spot. When we asked about different sites they explained the system, it may be good to proactively share this with people who say they intend to dive regularly. The dive shop also arranged a fishing trip (light tackle) and a trevally was caught which the kitchen cooked up for an amazing dinner. The only thing which would make it perfect is if they allowed helicopter arrivals to really make the most of seeing the beautiful islands. We will return.

This is a very quiet and peaceful property, a refreshing change from the larger, busier resorts. With no phones or televisions in the rooms, it truly feels like a tropical paradise where you can completely disconnect and relax. The beachfront rooms are spacious, comfortable, and offer beautiful views. The staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. The beach is fantastic—clean, serene, and rarely crowded. Most of the time, it feels like you have the entire beach to yourself. The only area that could use some improvement is the food. While it is satisfactory, it doesn't quite match the high standard set by the accommodations, service, and overall atmosphere of the property. That said, the peaceful setting and outstanding hospitality make this a wonderful place to stay.

Everyone is very friendly, they were able to check us in early: had a welcome drink and got little Neckless and they even sang song for us to welcome to the island.

Best trip ever! We loved this resort! All the activities and the staff were amazing! They entertained us when we were stuck inside during a cyclone! And the fire dancers were so cool! 🔥
