Yes it’s an old hotel but the room was clean and it was quiet, perfect for a nights stay.

Lots of parking and I felt like my car was secure there

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast had a variety of breads and cereals, fresh fruit, boiled eggs and yogurt with a selection of hot and cold beverages.

Initial thought driving around the area to go to the hotel and it felt like your in a sketchy part of the city, the place looks rundown from the outside with small shops surrounding it. although looks might be deceiving especially going to the front desk and inside the property as it really shows it age. you might think it does not look like your in a hotel. Once you get past the lobby and enter inside you can see the rooms was newly renovated with laminate flooring. Our room had the kitchenette with the stove, fridge and microwave. shower and bath too were also recently renovated. Theres a convenient store located within the hotel property. Argyll Palaza is really accessible by car or uber. Stayed here to watch a concert at the commonwealth as is only 6 minutes from Southgate Transit station. Staff were helpful. Parking is available but limited due to construction on the property. There is decent continental breakfast included. Overall good value for the money you paid for.
