We stayed at Chateau Holtmühle during a heatwave that was occurring across the Netherlands. The room was wonderfully cool!!!

I am disappointed to have booked a room at a hotel that does not serve dinner on Sunday. Even though they say they do. I did not receive an email about this. As they claim. The outside area where you could sit and have a drink was not nice. after other guests. The reception was helpful in calling for food…..

Hotel is amazing, rooms are superb.

Superb hotel in a beautiful setting. The rooms are fairly luxurious and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely be very happy to stay there again. There is a covered bike shed at the back of the building. One thing that was a shame is there was nowhere to lock a bike to such as a Sheffield stand or tie down point. So the bike was locked to itself in a shed and behind a gate with a code.

Inventar schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, jedoch alles sehr sauber. Sehr freundlicher Empfang an der Rezeption.

A wonderful historic hotel in a quiet location. The room was comfortable, clean and had fast internet. I also dined in the restaurant, which was great.

Wat een prachtige plek! Vanaf het moment dat ik aankwam bij Château Holtmühle voelde het alsof ik even helemaal weg was uit de dagelijkse drukte. Het kasteel straalt zoveel rust en charme uit — echt een sprookjesachtige sfeer. Mijn kamer was heerlijk schoon, ruim en stijlvol ingericht. Alles straalde comfort en klasse uit, tot in de kleinste details. Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk en gastvrij, ze gaven me echt het gevoel welkom te zijn. Het ontbijt was top – vers, uitgebreid en geserveerd in een prachtige zaal met uitzicht op het water. 's Avonds heb ik genoten van een heerlijk diner; pure verwennerij met verfijnde smaken en mooie presentatie. De omgeving is ook echt de moeite waard: groen, rustig en perfect voor een wandeling of een ritje naar Venlo. Ik heb hier genoten van elke minuut. Château Holtmühle is zo’n plek waar je tot rust komt, verwend wordt en met een glimlach weer vertrekt. Ik kom hier zeker terug! ✨

Alles war zu unserer vollkommenen Zufriedenheit.

Jos matkustaa pidemmälle kotoa ja on mahdollisuus valita muu kuin kaupunkihotelli, suosittelen valitsemaan linnahotellin. Se on aivan omaa luokkaansa. Aamiainen ruokasalissa, josta näkyy vallihauta, missä uiskentelee vesilintuja, antaa oman tunnelmansa. Palvelu on ystävällistä ja tunnelma romanttinen. On sanonta: Kaikkien pitäisi viedä puolisonsa / ystävänsä Pariisiin. Suosittelen vaihtamaan lauseen: Vie puolisosi Chateau Holtmuhleen! P.S. Yllätys, yllätys, Euroopan linnahotellien hintataso on alhaisempi kuin oman kotimaani tavallisten hotellien hintataso.
