Upon arrival, I was welcomed with an nice upgrade. The manager is really attentive to every details and ensure you feel at home. The view of this hotel is speechless. Amazing sunset view by the pool. I stayed for diner. They have a nice grilled tuna steak. Cocktail are good too. Thanls for the attention, your smile and the conversation!

Staff was friendly and attentive to your needs. Tamara went about and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, she provided us with options of available attractions and things to do.

Another brilliant stay, warm staff and very comfortable stay.

Overall, the hotel was lovely. Incredible view. Friendly staff. The food was amazing. Rooms were clean. Pool area was very nice. However, this place had many children - families from Europe. Most used the pool during the day and were extremely loud. And then during the evening dining experience, since it wasn't a large place, the children were loud during dinner. The loudness became a theme of the stay. For a solo traveler, this was a bit annoying. If you aren't going to be around during the day and have your own transportation, this place is great. I did walk down to a local restaurant and to the beach - it was super quiet. The walk back up the hill is steep but not that bad.

We really enjoyed the stay for many reasons. We felt safe and welcome there.

The staff a excellent very friendly. Meals are cooked to order so on occasions you do have to be paitent!

Quiet and comfortable atmosphere. Great view of the sea and mountains. Tamara (staff) was incredibly warm, helpful and welcoming. She ensured I had everything that I needed. The room was huge, clean and cozy and well maintained. I appreciated the peaceful surroundings. Hotel Champs is an excellent choice for travelers seeking an affordable, quiet stay. I highly recommend it!

Perfect place to go to Portsmouth. The staff and owners are so incredibly accommodating and nice. They really made our stay the best! It also had a personal touch without feeling forced. I’m also delighted to see a place honour the VIP Access benefits for Gold Members. The upgrade was incredible, and the wine selection came with options. Thank you for having us, it was a wonderful stay!

Small hotel about 1 hour drive from airport and 1 hour drive to the city, it was an overall pleasant stay

Very authentic Dominican experience. Small boutique hotel with friendly staff. Would have loved to see fresh colorful paint to have the exterior and interior match the wonderful, clean and friendly environment we've experienced. Would definitely come back again
