フロントはじめ室内における接客対応の良さに感心しました。 乗用車を運転しながらの旅でしたので、 特に滞在初日のホテルの夕食は予約が取れず、夕方にチェックインしました。 夕食会場は満席のようでしたが、フロントの計らいにより別室で、同等メニューの食事が出来ました。

建物自体は古いですが、とてもきれいにメンテナンスされています。 部屋ごとに異なるインテリアは、どれも素敵でした。部屋は広々としていて、裏庭をのぞむ窓際は絵になる風景です。周りは森で、とても静かでした。 シャワーブースと浴槽が別々になっていて、とても使いやすかったです。2部屋のうち、1部屋には浴室にテレビもありました。 夕食はコースディナーを食べました。ホテルの農園で取れた食材が美しく盛りつけられ、とてもおいしかったです。食事前と食事後は、ラウンジで飲み物をいただきました。雰囲気がよく、大満足です。 イギリスには珍しく、部屋に湯沸かしポットと紅茶などのティーバッグがありませんでした。ラウンジで自由に飲めるようでしたが、できれば自分の部屋で好きなときに飲めるといいなと思います。 ホテルのスタッフはとても紳士的な振る舞いで快適でした。イギリスらしい雰囲気を十分に楽しめる、すばらしいホテルだと思います。

ロビーにも廊下にも部屋にもアンティーク家具や絵画が飾られていて豪華、スタッフも親切、サービスも行き届いていて、とても快適に過ごしました。食事もおいしかったです。周囲はのどかな田園風景で、のんびりと散歩も楽しめ、車で２０分くらい走ったところには乗馬場もあり、人生初の乗馬も楽しみました。最高でした！またウェールズに来たらここに泊まりたいです。

少しお高くとまったホテルでくつろげないかも、と思っていましたが、そんなことはなく、快適なサービスを受けることができました。手ごろな価格の部屋に泊まりましたが、部屋もバスルームも十分な広さでとても丁寧に清掃され、予想通りの素敵なファブリックと、予想以上の窓からの眺めを楽しめました。夕食はあまり空腹ではなかったので、レストランのディナーではなくロビー（リビング）ルームでステーキ（ダンナ）、サンドウィッチ（私）、サラダにしましたが、かえって周りの家具や花、そして牧場の景色を楽しむことができました。

ゲストルームもスタッフのホスピタリティも快適でした。敷地内を散歩するだけでも日ごろのストレスが解消していくのがわかりました。

Beautiful building and grounds. Staff were amazing so helpful. Rooms were a little bit dusty and in need of updating but super comfy bed and a lovely peaceful stay.

Beautiful period property, very clean and well furnished. The food was pricey but delicious. Unfortunately, there was just something missing that you would expect from an up market country hotel. No one around when we arrived, the bar was lacking in non alcoholic drinks, the white wine menu was limited along with their knowledge. The staff varied, the young waiting staff were casual in their approach, the mature staff were caring and made sure we were attended to at all times.

We were looking forward to staying here for our wedding anniversary. We were put in a top floor room on a very hot day despite being told that the hotel was quiet so they could have found a cooler room for us. The staff were not concerned about our comfort. As in nearly every hotel room, there was nowhere to put our toiletry bags.

This is a fabulous hotel in a beautiful building designed before WW1 by Clough Williams-Ellis, who also designed Portmeirion. Perfect for anyone who loves the grandeur of an Edwardian country house hotel set in gently rolling hills. The rooms are beautiful - try and get one in the original house rather than the extension - and the public rooms are large and elegant, filled with antiques and fine paintings. The staff were lovely and friendly, too. The only downside was that the food could have been better, but maybe I just made poor decisions! This hotel is without doubt a haven of peace!

The approach to the hotel is stunning—neat, tidy, and very impressive. From the moment we arrived, we received a warm welcome from reception, with staff who were both friendly and informative. Our room was delightful, featuring a beautiful four-poster bed complete with drapes. The furniture had an eclectic, well-loved charm that added character to the room while remaining spotlessly clean. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the well-appointed en-suite bathroom offered both a bath and a walk-in shower. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant, where the food was delicious and beautifully presented. Afterwards, we relaxed with coffee in the comfortable lounge area. The grounds are simply gorgeous. Whichever window you look out of, you are greeted by stunning views of the surrounding green countryside. Throughout our stay, the staff were polite, attentive, and professional. A special mention goes to Ellen, who kindly gave us a tour and shared the fascinating history of the house after breakfast in the cosy breakfast room. Overall, we had a truly lovely stay and would not hesitate to return. Highly recommended.

A truly lovely hotel. The room was superb, comfortable, warm and a fabulous bed. The food in the restaurant was delicious and a great choice at breakfast. All the staff were so professional and super friendly. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel-full of character and wonderful treasures. Needs a little update-plugs and wires on display, sciffs on skirting boards and doors etc but minor things. Lively staff and a great stay.

A lovely hotel in a lovely part of Wales….stunning views and a walk along the Wye from the adjoining field. Breakfasts are fine. Evening meals are sadly not special and do not warrant the prices charged. Also Bed and breakfast price is for continental only…..cooked breakfasts are £10 extra. Small things need dealing with. When beds are made in the mornings the teabags etc are not replaced, the bins are not emptied and toilet rolls not replaced. This means the guest having to specifically ask for things that should be automatically dealt with. Adrian and the rest of the staff were great…special mention to barman who was very willing and helpful. Gardens are lovely but are desperately in need of tlc. Top Tip for hotel…..get a better chef to do justice to the lovely hotel. I

Utter gem. Glorious setting. The building is super old and has a lovely feeling of tradition. The staff were first class. Utter joy.

Plenty of parking, a stunning place and location. The food was fantastic and all the staff were brilliant and incredibly friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

Lovely country house in a great location, we enjoyed our stay enormously. There are lots of nice country hotels in the uk but what nave Llangoed Hall special were the helpful and friendly staff.
