I should have read a few reviews before we booked this hotel. I had not realized that the resort is built on a hill, and so we needed to take a hotel tram most of the time because it was difficult to walk anywhere. (The hotel drivers were lovely though, and we seldom waited more than a few minutes.) Walking to the private beach meant lots of steps down too. Because of previous knee surgeries, this was difficult for me. There was a slanted road to walk down to the public beach, but it was a bit off-putting to have heaps of trash to jump over to get the beach (washed up in the tide. I spoke with someone at the desk, and they said that it is collected once a week usually.) Also, we did not have an ocean view unless sitting in one of the restaurants. We loved the well trained staff. And the breakfast was amazing in the scope and flavors, and our room was very comfortable. The pool was clean (but sadly the bubble beds in the pool didn't work.) We won't be back simply because of it being hard to navigate with a physical disability but it is a lovely resort if you are fit!
