安く泊まれます。 調理器具、冷蔵庫や電子レンジはありませんが、毎朝の朝食が出るのと、近くにALDIというスーパーがあり(平日22時まで営業)食事には困りません。 ホテルのPubでの飲食も可能で、値段もそこそこでおいしい物が頂けます。 部屋によって無料Wifiの入りが悪い様ですが、自分の部屋は問題ありませんでした。 なんといっても出張先の仕事場に近く、また治安も良いと思われるため徒歩で通勤できるのがよかったです。(通勤中に子供を連れた母親とすれ違ったり、ランニング集団と、、などが朝、晩あります) Swindon駅までは7番のバスに乗れば2.1ポンド(15分程度)で済みます。 またヒースロー空港やLondonに向かう場合には高速バス(Coach)のNationalExpressがよく、Swindon駅近くのバス停か、このホテルから歩いて25分程度の所にSwindon strattonという高速バスの止まるバス停があるためどちらかで空港やLondonに移動可能です。(strattonバス停からはSwindon⇒空港とは別ルートの高速バスとなるため、時間により徒歩⇒Stratton⇒空港とするか、バス⇒Swindon⇒空港とするか選べ自由度が高いです)(NationalExpressを利用する場合は事前に予約すれば安くなります。ネット予約がおすすめです。) 3週間近くいましたが、冷蔵庫なしでもAldiのおかげで出費も少なく暮らせたためまずまずのホテルと考えます。 見た目は古風な建物のため、日本からの出張者にもイギリスの良い雰囲気を味わってもらえるのではないでしょうか。

部屋は少し古いが、清掃が行き届いている感じがした。

スウィンドン駅近で隣にスーパーもあり便利なロケーションでした‼︎ 朝食も無料⁈で付いていて助かりました‼︎フロントが一階のパブと兼用で 面白かったです！ ここからレンタカーでストーンヘイジやバースやコッツウォルズのブロードウェイまで1時間程で何処へ行くにも良い場所でした‼︎ 部屋にはバスタブもありゆっくり出来ました！

昼間は室内が暑く、窓が小さいので開けても変わらない、その他は概ね良好。駅から少し離れているのでタクシー代がかかる。

Very reasonable price, good amount of parking, easy and quick access to the m4, the room and bathroom were a decent size as well as clean, comfy and well equipped. The shower was nice and powerful. The pub/restaurant itself was decent with nice staff and food. The only point to note is last food orders for evening meals is 8 pm so plan around this. If you arrive late there is a supermarket within walking distance open till 10. I would stay here again.

Always a great stay at the crown inn, rooms nice and clean , staff are fantastic, really friendly. Danielle is so friendly and always a smile to greet us. The bar has plenty of drinks choices and the food is very nice. Good choices in food from vegetarian to gluten free menus. Parking is good always space to park.

Lovely comfy bed and adequate generally, but room needs some updating. Last room downstairs we used was in better condition. Plenty of parking and pub food good. Staff helpful and friendly.

This is a pub with some rooms, and they are decidedly average. The sort of place you would put your east European tradesmen in while doing a job for you. My room was on the ground floor. This meant the window looked onto the outdoor terrace. No net curtains meant I had to keep the curtain drawn for any privacy, so it was dark all day. Unfortunately the curtains were not black out so it was light from about 6.30am! Also there was a room above mine and the floor was so creaky and noisy so late nights and early mornings were very noisy. The bed was fine, but the bathroom was tatty, the carpet so stained you felt you had to keep your shoes in, and the tv was about the size of an average laptop screen. Also be aware that breakfast starts at 10am and they finish serving food in the evenings very early (I never made it back in time to eat do I cannot comment on the bar or food). The outside terrace in early April was pretty empty so noise from there was not a problem for me. However, the room was super cheap, so the accommodation was reasonable for the price. One just wishes that they would make a bit more effort!
