We love the hotel. It gives our family many good memories. The view from our window is amazing and we enjoyed the breakfast. Next time we will try the spa facilities.

Excellent service

We were diverted to Athens from Santorini. We had to find accommodations without any guidance. Very lucky to find this spot. Wish we could have explored, but had to fly out at 5am next day. Staff was so kind and we ordered room service. Food excellent. Cocktails great.

The hotel is boutique and it lives up to the name. Sadly it is not on the beach hotel and none of the amenities and facilities which the other big Divani Apollo hotel available to the guests free of charge were available to the Escape guests for free. For example you had to pay (extortionate amounts!) for spa or swimming pool or beach facilities which were available only in the other hotel but not this one. It says that it has a pool outside, far from it, it is a puddle overlooking the main street. Great for boutique hotel but missold on amenities, advertising needs updating. If one was to walk on the beach area, there were far more reasonable facilities and well.proced restaurants, that was a great alternative.

The location is very good , the staff are very helpful

We booked two suites for our preperation for our wedding. However, the suite for the bride was not a suite as stated on the website, but a superior room and definitely not 40sq meters. Since we had booked two suites was easy to compare and understand the difference. As a result, the bride (the room booked for 3 nights) had to prepare for the wedding at a room half of the size of the other suit. We complained and explained it and they said that on their system those two rooms are in the same category (although the one was half the size of the other). At the end for the first night after our wedding they changed us to a bigger room (that’s why I do mot give 1 star) but it was a really bad experience on our big day.

Great location and staff…nice room but corridors could use a vacuum.

Sadly this is a bad review, wish it wasn’t the case. I don’t even know how this hotel is considered 5 star, it’s 4 and that’s a stretch. The room was quite basic, I found hair (short hair, I’d like to not think where it came from!) in my bed. Luckily I was only there for one night. We arrived quite late and ordered food - turkey sandwich and Greek salad. The Greek salad was nice but the turkey sandwich felt like a 5 year old prepared it. It also took 40 minutes to make and when I was checking up on the order the person who responded was extremely rude. One good thing I must mention is the lady who checked us in was so incredibly kind and accommodating and the cleaning lady was sweet - must be said.

The Divani Escape was a great place to stay. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful with any question I had. It was the quietest place I had ever stayed and the Free breakfast was the BEST I've ever had. The only negative point was I read that I could use the pool at the Divani Apollo across the street, but was charged €85 which I felt was very expensive.

Property was better as Apollo suites, now much more bare bones, upolstry is dirty, needs replacing, services are sparten. Afiliation with Divani Apollo Palace across street was much better. Now all those benefiys atent available and have an upcharge. Expedia also let us down by not advising of yhe change.

Hotel management took care of concerns very rapidly.

Nice place close to beach. Make sure to understand the rules for sun beds and never rely on a taxi reservation, not I guess all up the the hotel..

Very nice quite place

Apollon Suites feels like the classy younger sibling to the ginormous Divani Thalasso next door and across the street. Apollon suites felt luxurious, very clean, very accessible, and private - we were able to lounge by the pool a few times, and barely had company, although it is small. Complimentary breakfast 10/10. Area of Vouliagmeni is a dream! Stay here if you want to explore Athens- a dream to come back to after hustle and bustle of the city center. Apollon beach also impressive and just 15💶 per chair. This hotel was our “splurge” of the trip for 2 nights and was ABSOLUTELY worth it.

The property falsely advertise access to beach, but forgot to disclose that charge to use beach100 euro from each person! Also they advertise the pool, but what they called pool is a fountain!!!Pool is across the street half block up at the Divani palace, and cost 65 euro from each person that is not disclosed. Also they advertise shuttle to airport, but they do not have it!!

Gorgeous property, well appointed suites, great staff , nice quiet area

We booked this hotel to have a more luxurious experience but got very disappointment. The hotel does not give a 5 star experience, skip the headache and do not book. The hotel might check every box on paper to fulfill 5 stars but the experience lives up to 2 stars. It is not clear on the booking that the hotel and suites are not in the same building and because of that you do not have access to the pool area at the main building (hotel) without paying 80€ for two people. And the same goes to their beach places, they have two, one place where you pay 40€ and the other 80€. As if it is not enough to pay the expensive price to stay there, you have to pay extra to do everything. The suites building does have a very small pool area and approximately 3 sunbeds, it is so rotten and the sun does not appear there because of buildings surrounding the area. The staff are understaffed which makes them stressed and you do not get the service you wish for a 5 star experience. During breakfast there was only one staff who served everyone, there were times where you got forgotten and you had to go to them to order. The rooms are old, which was expected from the photos, but they should really upgrade and renovate their rooms, they are really worn down. We tried to be away as much as possible from our room and hotel. In overall, this was one of the worst stays and it is so unworthy to stay there, save your money or spend them on something else that is worthy.
