ホテルのあるBOXの町の案内が部屋にありました。 観光地でない、街道に面した小さい、生活感のある町だったので、 事前に情報があれば、散策と食事をする時間をスケジュールに組み込む 事ができたので、よりこのホテルが楽しめたはずです。

親子でバース観光で利用しました。とても素晴らしいB＆Bでした。スタッフは親切で英語も分かりやすくゆっくり話してくれて、助かりました。また、部屋も清潔でとても快適でした。近くには小さなコンビニのような店やBARもありました。周辺の家々も素敵で散歩が楽しかったです。朝食も美味く、是非また利用したいです。

We reserved a superior triple room for 2 nights. There were only 2 of us, so when we arrived and were shown to a double room we didn't mind, so didn't mention it. The room and whole house was very clean, and the owners were very welcoming and friendly. We were visiting Badminton Horse Trials and had forgotten our printed tickets before leaving, so these were printed for us, which was great. The dining chairs felt unstable. We asked for tea with breakfast on the first day, but got coffee, the poached eggs were overdone, so the second day we opted for scrambled egg, which was delicious - as was the rest of the breakfast. Unfortunately, our room was not checked/cleaned whilst we were out on the first day, so we came back and our bin was still full, no clean mugs/glasses or teabags/loo roll so we had to go and rummage in the kitchen to find some old mugs, teabags and clean glasses, which wasn't ideal. I did mention it and the owner did apologise. The window in the bathroom doesn't quite close so that room felt quite cold, and as it is a fully tiled wet room (very nicely finished) it is quite cold anyway. Underfloor heating would have really finished off the lovely bathroom and added a more luxurious feel. The people here are lovely, the house is beautiful and the location is great. Just a bit disappointed this time.

A beautiful guest house with excellent hosts who provided a first class breakfast and experience.

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at Lorne House. Our room was luxurious, and the bedding was unbelievably comfortable. The thoughtful touches included an assortment of teas and coffees (including decaf), regular and oat milk, plus biscuits right in our room, made it feel extra special. The full breakfast is absolutely incredible, and able to skip lunch, only needed dinner each day. The house itself is beautiful and very comfortable, with a lovely living room/common area and an inviting outdoor patio. The décor is stunning, and it’s clear the hosts haven’t skimped on a single detail. Mum Liz Dad Bob and Olivia as well as (Eliza/Harry who had their first child Mathilda, this week) was warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful, offering great suggestions on where to visit nearby and how to get there. Note: When we arrived, we discovered we had accidentally booked our 5 night stay for the following year, 2027. Harry couldn’t have been more helpful and immediately found a way to accommodate us. We would highly recommend Lorne House and look forward to returning!

Lovely room, delicious breakfast, nice staff.

The room looked lovely and as did others that we could see into as we passed along the corridor. The place had a very homely feel and is elegant in decoration. Such a shame there was a large stain on the bedroom carpet.

Everything was great. My only quibble is that the Hollandaise sauce on my eggs was not good ruining breakfast for me.

We had a great stay, the room was spotless with a very comfortable king-size bed, the breakfast was delicious, and Liz's service was excellent!

The property was very well kept and I was greeted warmly upon arrival. My room was a great size and well furnished, with a sizable bathroom. Breakfast was lovely and they were able to cater for gluten free.

Warm welcome and a very comfortable, spacious, lower ground floor room with huge wet room bathroom. Very quiet and delicious cooked breakfast. Friendly family run house with helpful recommendations for eating out and visiting.
