ハイストリートのマーケットホールから西に5分程歩いた場所にある歴史ある建物を使ったインで、１階は地元の人に愛されるパブになっている。 部屋は一人で使うには十分な広さだが、トイレとシャワーは2室共用になっている。 建物の奥にインド料理のレストランが併設されていて、美味しく値段も手頃だった。

まさにロードオブザリングの 宿、という感じで 歴史を感じさせる とても素敵な宿でした。 お値段も リーズナブルでした。 一階は パブになっていて ビールも飲めるのですが ちょっと賑やかだったので 私たちは 数件先の レッドライオンインで 食事を取りました。 そちらもオススメです。

下がパブなので、うるさい事を懸念していましたが、防音してあるのか静かだった。サッカーワールドカップの日本戦をパブで見て、盛り上がりました。負けましたが。 お部屋もバスルームも綺麗で、場所も中心から近く満足です。

Overall great location and drinks and food were great. Liked the breakfast options. Only problem was being on top of an active and popular pub meant noise from the bar till the early hours.

We spent 2 nights at the Volunteer Inn in September in a room with shared bathroom. Everything was very clean and comfortable and the staff were all great. The breakfast was good and the pub downstairs is a good spot for a drink. Our room faces the road but was very quiet and did not get any noise from the pub. Given the cost of staying in Chipping Campden, we felt the rate was very reasonable.

The rooms were clean...with amenities like coffee tea facilities, hairdryer, lots of charging points and even the shared bathrooms were clean and big and comfortable to use. The cooked breakfast choices was good and included in the budget friendly price. The staff were pleasant, helpful and friendly. Location is walking distance to townhall and bus stop. Would recommend it for anyone looking for a clean budget friendly accomodation in Chipping Camden.

I travel a lot for work all around the world. This place is possibly the coolest place ive ever stayed

On arrival hotel asked for payment but had already paid. Took a bit of sorting but extra payment returned before we left. Room clean and comfortable with village very quiet and peaceful at night. Bit unhappy with shared bathroom but other user only there for 1 night. Breakfast ok, food cooked to order, hot and did the job.

Undoubtedly the rudest manager/owner I have ever come across !! …… Please don’t visit the Volunteer Inn ……

Lovely country pub in a beautiful village. Friendly check in. Room was basic with separate bathroom but we had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Ample supply of tea and coffee. Lovely meal in the Indian restaurant. Continental breakfast was very basic but the cooked breakfast was lovely with perfectly cooked poached eggs.

Nice room above a historic tavern, comfortable bed, friendly staff, great breakfast, good location- HOWEVER it was the tavern frequented by rowdy locals on a Friday & Saturday night so it was very load & we were kept up late.

Room very clean, en suite spotless. Greeted very pleasantly and shown to room, everything about stay explained.

We managed to get a room that had its own bathroom, but it was separate from our bedroom. That was a bit awkward, but we managed just fine for the 1 night we were there. Indian restaurant on property was outstanding at making dishes exactly as we requested, which was vegan and not spicy hot. Breakfast was also excellent vegan. Since our room was right over the bar, we were afraid it would be noisy, but it wasn't.
