Unfortunately, we spent there for one night only. There was BBQ area at the pool side, town was very near and convience. If we have an opptunity to stay there again, hope to be there for more than one night and have BBQ with Australian beef.

Great location . I only had one night and check in parking excellent value for the night.

Really nice and helpful staff. Great location for easy access to town

This is one of the best motels in which I have ever stayed. The outside was bright, colourful and inviting. Inside, the room was immaculate, well furnished and decorated. The bed and furniture were designed for comfort. Staff were most courteous. Very highly recommended by me.

My hotel room was a dump. Thin walls. I could hear the occupants next door turning their microwave on and off. I could hear their alarm clock going off (and it took them a long time to shut off the alarm). My room was next to the tanks which serviced the pool. So everything in my room smelled like chlorine. It was the stench of disinfectant in a seedy motel room. The pool was filthy (not that I wanted to go swimming). Sand and dirt strewn about the bottom. My room had a flimsy hollow core door, which if one was determined, you could easily kick the door in. A flimsy lock on the door. It was one of those places that the police use when they’re setting up a sting. In the movies, they huddle around a grainy monitor, listening over a busted speaker, waiting on the informant to say the code word before they spring into action and come rushing in through the adjoining door with guns drawn. It was only for one night, so I toughed it out, but it was a restless night and I must have woke up half a dozen times. I’ve travelled quite a bit, all over the world and your facility has to be the 3rd worst motel, I’ve ever spent the night in. Now I know, “Where NOT to stay” in Port Douglas. Next time I’ll stay elsewhere. The next morning after I checked out and didn’t look back. I'd like a refund. You could not pay me to stay in this motel again.

Good-sized rooms, clean with good amenities

Lovely place

Very friendly and helpful staff, great value and close to everything. It was also very helpful being able to park outside my accommodation.

We couldn’t wish for a nicer place to stay with lovely retro features which we loved, & everything was within a few minutes walk. Our room had all the accessories we required & was clean & comfortable. Only comment was the washer & dryer in a separate building needs updating but that may already be in their plans to do as everywhere was well kept & updated. We would highly recommend this motel & the staff - mother & son Bernie - both of whom were very welcoming, were friendly & gave us lots of advice & suggestions on what we could do & where!

This motel is good value. Its central location is also a great asset

We had a great 3-day stay at this quirky but very nice & comfortable motel. Our apartment looked to be recently refurbished, was well-equipped, spacious & had all the accessories we needed. The location is only a 2-minute walk to the shopping centre with many lovely shops including a large supermarket, coffee shops, various types of restaurants, plus a lovely marina & seafront with a pathway at the end of the centre. The owners of this motel were very friendly & welcoming plus they gave lots of suggestions of places to go & things to do including the surrounding areas. The only comment we would make was the washing machine & drier are in need of replacement but maybe they are due for this any time soon. We would highly recommend this motel when visiting Port Douglas!

Great spot to stay close to town and beach easy to walk around and do many cafe and restaurants nearby! Funky colourful rooms loved the pool too.

Team at the Port Douglas Motel were extremely friendly and helpful during our stay so much we extended for longer than originally planned, it is in an awesome position for getting into town to the restaurants and shopping

We loved the property and the pool. Bed was comfy and black out curtains were awesome. Room was great. Staff was great. Recommend this property

Dejlig roligt og hyggeligt. Perfekt sted hvor man kan lave mad lige ved siden af poolen, der er mulighed for at vaske tøj og så er personalet super venligt og hjælpsomme. Stranden ligger 5 min gang fra stedet. Ville klart vælge dette dejlige sted hvis jeg kom dertil igen.
