At check-in, I was left waiting while the receptionist appeared to be engaged in a personal conversation with friends. This didn’t create a welcoming first impression and felt unprofessional.
At check-out, I requested a modest 30-minute extension so I could shower after completing a half marathon. Unfortunately, this was declined quite bluntly, despite the circumstances. A bit of flexibility and understanding would have gone a long way in improving my overall impression of your service.
