1週間ほどのニューヨーク旅行でしたが4日マンハッタン島、2日をこのスタテン島で過ごしました。 こちらのB&Bではとても心地よく過ごすことができました。ニューヨークの喧騒から逃れ落ち着くには良い場所です。 当初、マンハッタンからスタテトン島、そしてこのB&Bまでのアクセスを心配してましたが特にストレスを感じることなくアクセス出来ました。具体的にはマンハッタンからはスタテン島行きの無料フェリーの乗り場までは地下鉄で行けますし地下鉄駅からフェリー乗り場までは雨に濡れることもなくダイレクトにつなっがっています。またフェリーも２４時間運行なのでマンハッタンでミュージカルを見たあと遅くなっても問題無くホテルまで戻ることができました。むしろ夜遅くにマンハッタンのビル群の夜景を見ながら替えれる贅沢を味わえ大満足でした。スタテン島側についてもタクシー乗り場で容易にタクシーに乗ることができ１０㌦でホテルまで行く事ができました。時間は１０分位でついたかと思います。またホテルからフェリー乗り場までは僕らはＵＢＥＲを利用しました。こちらも１０㌦ほど。なので当初心配していたアクセスに関してはノーストレスでした。 また、おいしい朝食もつきますし女主人のおばあさんとも色々話しもでき楽しい一時を過ごすことができたのもＧＯＯでした。都会のホテルより民宿的なところが性に会う方にはお勧めです！

3月上旬に3泊しました。19世紀に建てられた建物で、暖房や人が歩くと建物のどこかで音が響き、床も板のきしみ具合が年代を味わえるワクワクしました。掃除もきれいにしてあり、いつもクラシック音楽が流れ、素敵な朝食をゆっくりと取りながら優雅な一時を過ごしました。一生忘れられない思い出になりました。

滞在中、オーナーは私のママのようでした。帰国の朝、朝早いフライトなので朝食を食べないと言ったら時間に合わせて朝食を用意してくれました。とても優しいオーナーでした。タオル類も全て付いていてドライヤーも付いていました。スタテン島フェリー乗り場へのアクセスは、バスとタクシーがあります。フェリー乗降口から少し離れていますが静かでのんびり出来る、居心地の良いホテルです。帰国の日、寂しがる私をハグしてくれました。また訪れること間違いないです。

Very interesting historic home and owner. The home was renovated and preserved by the owner. She also was a wonderful host.

I came for a one-night stay, but had to leave before breakfast time the next day, so I can't comment on the breakfast portion. However, I found the place charming and restful. I was very comfortable there. The owner was very friendly and engaging, but not intrusive. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there, and hope to do it again.

It was great staying at this Bed & Breakfast. I would suggest selecting the third floor room which has an attached "outside" porch area and it's own bathroom.

It was a beautiful old home with a lot of interesting history. It reminded me of my grandmother home when i was growing up.

Die Einrichtung im viktorianischen Stil. Die tatkräftige Beratung in Bezug auf Ausflüge etc. Das leckere Frühstück.

Hard to get a cab back and forth as tolls to Staten Island are $17 each way. Would’ve stayed on the Jersey side if I’d known. We were in town for a cruise. The breakfast and stay was lovely however!

great 1 night stay prior to our next day flight out of JFK. Breakfast was wonderful and enjoyed our conversation with the owner.

We really enjoyed the Victorian Bed & Breakfast, the owner met us when we arrived, let us decide on which room we would like, and asked us what we would like for breakfast. Allowed me to stay later than the normal checkout. She was very accommodating. The B&B was in a great location, convenient to the ferry, which is what we needed to get to Manhattan. We would definitely stay there again.

We have stayed here several times and always have a great experience. The room is spotless and the bed is comfy. Very quiet and relaxing

The host was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean. The beds were very comfortable. The location far from Manhattan was not convenient but the quiet neighborhood and free parking not available in Manhattan made up for this.

Wunderschönes und stilvoll eingerichtetes viktorianisches Haus; tolle Gastgeberin, der das Wohl und der Komfort ihrer Gäste am Herzen liegt; hervorragendes Frühstück mit frischem Obst, selbstgebackenem Kuchen, gutem Brot (!), Auswahl an Eierspeisen und täglich wechselnden warmen Anteil; mehrere Busverbindungen zur Staten Island Fähre (ca. 15 min) und zur MTA nach Brooklyn (ca. 30 min); ruhige und sichere Wohngegend; das B&B bietet einen hervorragenden Einblick in das Leben der "normalen" New Yorker abseits vom engen und hektischen Manhattan und trotzdem kann man unkompliziert dorthin gelangen; die Brückenverbindung nach Brooklyn und damit der Zugang zum MTA-Netz ermöglicht auch einen (verhältnismäßig) schnellen Zugang zu den anderen Stadtteilen
