very friendly staff, clean room, nice food and perfect place to spend your holiday.

The swan at hay is

古めかしい田舎の建物を利用したホテルで、２階の部屋は床が傾いていましたがそれも風情がありました。部屋には横に広い大きな机があるので、読書や書き物にぴったりです。レストランとパブのほか、ゆったりしたソファーが置かれた広いラウンジがあります。部屋ではwifiは使えませんが、入り口近くの共用スペースでは利用できます。古本の町という場所柄か、客層も含めてとても静かで落ち着いた雰囲気です。

ビジネスユーズとして二泊しました。夕食もおいしく快適に過ごせました。

A lovely couple of days at The Swan whilst checking many of the book shops in town. The hotel is very welcoming and all the staff were very pleasant.

Hay-on-wye is a special place and the Swan Hotel is a great place to stay, especially if you have a dog. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic, helpful staff - well tested, when we arrived a day early by mistake , but smoothed over in an instant . If you are in town for books - you could not have a better location, easy to dash back with your bibliophile hauls .

The hotel is in a perfect location for a visit to Hay on Wye. It is a short walk to all the shops and amenities. It has on site parking behind the hotel. On this particular visit I had twisted my knee prior to arrival and I found the staircases up to our room a bit of a challenge.

Very accommodating staff, lovely large room and well looked after. Really tasty cooked breakfast, although the cereals table looked a bit makeshift (but this is getting picky). Porter opened the bar late so we could have a few drinks after coming back from a wedding

The Swan at Hay Hotel couldn't have been better. The accommodations, staff, and location were perfect for our stay in Hay-0n-Wye.

Staff friendly and obliging. Food good. Weather was lovely to sit in the garden.

There is hotel parking but it is a tight fit if you arrive late. Didn’t use the dining facilities as there are better options in the town

It was ok..good location for Hay but a little shabby around the edges and the food was dreadful. It seemed to cater for the local crowd which is good for them so the garden was full of lots of people enjoying the weather and the beer and bar food. I had to queue for some time at the bar to get a glass of wine and the bar was at the other end of the hotel. The TV in the room didn’t work and the hotel was quite noisy.

Excellent location and lovely building in beautiful Hay. Love the original sash windows.
