学校を改装したアークレイリでは大きなホテル。部屋、共用バス、トイレはいたって普通です。ロビーは綺麗で洗練された雰囲気です。街まで歩いて行けます。

2016年8月に2泊しました。シャワー・トイレが共用で、ベッドが小さい（細い）ですが、シャワー・トイレとも混雑もなく非常に清潔で、また朝食バイキングはとても充実していておいしいし、スタッフも手早く気が利きます。特筆は朝食で、ヨーグルトだけでも10種類近くある充実ぶりで、パン・シリアルだけでなく、自分で焼くワッフルや、オートミール粥など主食の種類も多く、ハム・チーズだけでなく、魚のマリネのようなものなどおかずも充実、朝から気分よく、楽しく観光をする活力を得ることが出来ました。シャワー・トイレの分、そこに重点を置いてこの価格に抑えているものと思います。この趣向にマッチするのであれば、強力にお勧めさせて頂きます。我々は相性があったので、満点の5点とさせて頂きます。

広く清潔感のあるホテル。空港からもタクシーで近く街中へも徒歩15分くらいで 便利だったが、シンクと電子レンジがあるわりに湯沸し器等の備品が一切なかったのが残念

È carina e ha il parcheggio per cui abbiamo girato Akureyri liberamente. La mattina i bagni non erano puliti e non c' è bollitore in camera: sarebbe stato molto gradito.

The rooms was very nice. The adjoining botanical gardens were beautiful. The breakfast buffet was simply amazing. My only minor complaint was that the bathrooms were not very close to the room.

Staff was fantastic

For that cost, the room was super basic - I have seen private hospital rooms with better amenities. No television, no hot water kettle, no fridge - but the worst? No elevator! Or actually one that only goes up to first floor (mine was on the 3rd floor). Had to get my change of clothes for the night and the next day by opening my suite case in the car trunk. Hotel staff is incredibly rude and unaccommodating. Breakfast was included - basic affair. Have had such a great experience in Iceland that I don’t want it to be influenced by this one bad experience. You can book a little in advance for better options.

Nice budget accomidation at a verygood location. We use it frequently.

Conveniently located. Acceptable price and breakfast. We did not like that there is no elevator, so we had to carry our luggage to the 3rd floor using the stairs. I do have to recognize that the girl who checked us in offered to help, but we found that really awkward, that should not be part of her job description. This used to be a college dorm, so expect small rooms and a very small shower, not made for a big person. Would we stay here again? Hmm, that is a hard "maybe".

This is a dorm which is used as a hotel in summer. This should be mentioned in the description. Looking at the pictures you will not realize that. The breakfast looked overpriced. It would have been 27$ US. We went to Lon inside hotel Akureyri instead which was way better breakfast for 31$. Rooms were clean but it is a dorm room. The curtains don’t block light to have a good night sleep when night time is only a few hours in summer here in Iceland. I will not book this hotel again.

The place did not have TV in rooms, was not aware of that. Staff was very helpful. Nice breakfast area with many choices.
