Staying here was a positive experience.: It is located less than 100 metres from the Maison Carrée in a beautiful well-maintained pedestrianised square with a couple of lively restaurants There are more tha enough staff who are friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and well-maintained. I would definitely stay here again. However before booking be aware that: Rooms are on first and second floors and there is no lift There was no refigerator in our room, though reception was handing out chilled water on demand Therefore it would not be ideal for anyone with limited mobility

Emplacement superbe. Personnel charmant. Chambre spacieuse. En revanche les travaux de rénovation très imparfaits, le charme de l’ancien ne justifie pas ça. Dommage. Eau chaude très longue à venir, chauffage très ancien qui fait du bruit. Une vraie rénovation / modernisation et ce serait top !

Dans la chambre un, il y a un bruit affreux d’une ventilation. Celle-ci se trouve sur le toit juste au-dessus de la chambre. La baignoire est bouchée

A minha estadia no Royal Hôtel foi ótima. O atendimento é muito bom, toda a equipe é muito simpática e atenciosa. O hotel está em uma localização excelente, a dois minutos da Maison Carre e do Carré d’Art, e a 4-5 minutos da Arena e Tour Magna… melhor impossível. O hotel tem um restaurante no térreo, mas não se ouve nada nos quartos, que são grandes e confortáveis. O meu quarto dava para a Place d’ Nîmes é uma cidade belíssima e o Royal Hôtel foi a escolha perfeita.

Dans l ensemble bien, climatisation de ma chambre en dysfonctionnement, le personnel a pu trouver une solution de remplacement de chambre pour une nuit. Télécommande de la télévision ne fonctionnent pas, impossible de prendre le petit dejeuner au pied lever... de petites choses qui peuvent rendre le sejour inconfortable.

Livstid in the very heart of Nimes! Location is most definitely prima. When traveling with dog we really recommend this hotel - the rooms are quiet and closely located green areas and parks. The hotel and rooms in general are outdated but clean and tidy.

This was our second stay at the Royal hotel, our first was just an overnight stay, and we liked Nimes so much we wanted longer and couldn't imagine a better hotel. This time it totally lived up to expectations. It is amazingly convenient for the centre of historic Nimes, opposite the Maison Carre! The rooms are comfortable, the building itself interesting architecturally, and some very quirky and amusing decor. We arrived during the Pentecost festival, which was very lively ☺️. Some features of the hotel were out of action while they cleaned up afterwards, but plenty of cafes restaurants around. The staff are amazing and helpful. Breakfast on the terrace was fab. I have multiple allergies and they catered for them really carefully. Thank you, Hotel Nimes, we will be back!

Hotel receiving strong noises from the exterior. Impossible to sleep, probably because the city was in celebrations. Room (price: double) very small without space do put the luggage. No lift and only diffocult stairs to aceed to the rooms

Extremely helpful staff. Dinner hour was a little misunderstood. Great breakfast. Room was exceptional.

Nice staff that treated us very well and were eager to please. The manager was exceptional.
