Great location, peaceful reaort

We had a negative interaction with one of the front desk staff and the assistant front desk manager. We book an ocean view room with a balcony and received a room with a half of an ocean view room as the other half was blocked by a building. It is the only room that has this issue. We also waited an extensive amount of time to be allowed into our room while numerous guests who arrived after us were able to get in theirs. We didn't get into our room until 25 minutes after check in while we waited hours. When we expressed our dissatisfaction about the half ocean view, we received differing responses from the front desk and the assistant manager. The assistant manager was extremely rude, dismissive, and condescending. What redeemed the hotel from our horrible check in experience: 1) location! The hotel is on Mylopotas beach, which is beautiful. There are sunbeds on the beach free of charge for guests, which is a nice benefit. 2) the rest of the staff! Aside from these two, everyone else, and I mean everyone, went above and beyond to make the experience amazing. Shoutouts to - Alex who worked the beach, Visalis the bartender at the beach, and Vivi the bartender at the pool bar. And, every staff member who walked by us, smiled, said hello, asked how we were doing, if we needed anything, etc. Would definitely return! And hope not to see the assistant front desk manager.

Amazing! We had the best time at Dionysos Resort. The property is beautiful and the staff is so friendly and helpful. The gorgeous beach with free beach chairs is right outside. The breakfast buffet has a great selection and the restaurant overlooks the beach. We were there with the family (two little kids). Don't worry that the island of Ios is known as a party island, we didn't notice any of that and the island is gorgeous.

Great place to relax, swim, and enjoy the beach. Nice resort, well maintained with exceled polite employees, 10+ experience!

Everything was amazing from the start. The staff were extremely responsive and helpful. The location is perfect for a nice, relaxing beach stay and private enough for a restful itinerary. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to solo, friends, family, or honeymoon travelers. Perfect mix of luxury and beauty.

Magnifique endroit, très calme, moderne, propre. Le personnel est incroyablement gentil et serviable. Le dejeuner inclu était excellent. Les piscines propres et le décor de bon goût. Les chambres sont grandes et propres, par contre pas très bien insonorisée du plancher. Nous recommandons fortement ce lieu.

Fantastic hotel with superb staff. Loved the breakfast overlooking the beach along with the pool and pool bar. Hotel is in a fantastic location with all your holiday requirements close at hand.

Best breakfast buffet I’ve had in Europe. Nothing ‘continental’ about it, a full course of delicious offerings and everything freshly made.

Lovely staff, breakfast was amazing and the beach was perfect. The service and food at the beach was good and not too expencive. We where however disappointed with our room. For what we payed it feelt dated and in need of an update. We still had an amazing stay and ones again the staff is amazing!

All was very clean. Food and service was great. It rained and it came in under the door. When you showered the water leaked under the shower door and the bathroom floor was very wet. We let them know. I recommend staying here. Still loved it.

The whole property was amazing. Directly across from the beach, great staff, beautiful views. I would stay here again!

Das Pool Areal an sich ist schön abgelegt. Allerdings ist der Pool mit blauer Farbe gestrichen, sodass man z.B. Fußsohlen bekommt sobald man den Boden berührt..Fail. Die Abstellflächen im Bad sowie die Aufhängemöglichkeiten für Handtücher sind eine Katastrophe... 2. Fail, besonders für den aufgerufenen Preis. Alles andere - Servicekräfte sehr freundlich, Lage des Hotels und Außenanlage, Bewirtung am Pool und besonders am Meer sehr gut, Qualität der Speisen ist ebenfalls top, haben abgesehen von den beiden Negativpunkten nur positive Erfahrungen gemacht.

A great team and a very nice place

This hotel is absolutely lovely. The grounds are beautifully maintained, creating a relaxing and tropical atmosphere. I especially appreciated the complimentary beach loungers, which made it easy to spend the whole day by the water. The on-site restaurant and bar were excellent. The menu had great variety, including gluten-free options, which was a big plus. Breakfast each morning was enjoyable. Only downside was there was a small walk to get to the restaurant and beach.

Struttura mediamente buona, ma migliorabile mancano i dettagli per renderla accogliente, materasso del letto vecchio e per nulla comodo, bagno con rifiniture da ultimare, servizi a valore aggiunto pochi, il mare c’è, si vede, ma lontano. Il vero plus lo staff, il servizio lettini in spiaggia e la colazione.

The hotel was beautiful and the restaurant was delicious. There is not much to do in the area around the hotel and you either have to walk or get a taxi up to the village if you want to walk around.
