I think it’s a nice hotel and not expensive so much. It takes about 20 minutes from downtown.

This was my second time staying at this hotel. My wife and I were very pleased with the quality of the room and the cleanliness of the hotel. The staff at the front desk were extremely pleasant to deal with and very helpful. We will definitely be back. And will recommend to our friends.

The Hotel Room was clean and well kept. The toiletries were well stocked. The Suite we were in was very comfortable and comfortable for an overnight stay. There was a Kitchen which was well equipped for us to have a meal made, however we were there for only one night and did not use it. The continental breakfast was good and the service was good as well. There was plenty of space to sit and have your breakfast and they had a good variety of items. The reception although on level 1 due to construction was well maintained with coffee and water available always and the receptionist was also helpful. Overall very good value for the one night stay. Will definitely recommend for a family or group stay.

I’ve been staying at this hotel for over 5 years. I usually come for 3 days. The staff are absolutely amazing! They make the check in very easy and always have time to answer your questions. Sarah has been very helpful to me for helping me plan things to do around Quebec. The hotel and rooms are very clean and comfortable. I’ve never had any problems with my room. There is a very nice complementary breakfast which is great to start your day. There is always free and fresh coffee. The hotel is located very close to amazing restaurants. There is even a Michelin recognized restaurant named Melba that is a 5 minute walk away. There are two public buses that can take you to the centre of Old Quebec. It doesn’t take long to get there by bus. Everyone at the hotel is super friendly and will do anything to help you. The new owner / General Manager Alex is outstanding! Very professional, polite and focussed on the needs of the customer. I can not tell you enough about how much I love this hotel in Quebec. I do not and will not stay anywhere else, that’s how good it is. Thank you very much Hotel du Nord for making all of my visits amazing!

The staff is hotel is helpful and engaging! Bianca is just cheerful and open for a small talks any time of the day or night I came to see Quebec City not knowing what to expect (contraction right in front of a front door) but front desk stuff was super nice and accommodating. Did not expect rooms to be any better than they are. All it takes clean fresh sheets and towels and clean room to get what you need in a city that you wants to spend all you time outdoor.

I stayed at this property for one evening. The street outside the front entrance and the surrounding areas are undergoing heavy road works. It is a challenge to roll suitcases and access the front entrance, and if you access the property through the parking entrance, you have to ring the bell to get the staff's attention. The hotel has a swimming pool, and the water is chilled. There is no changing room, only a WC in the pool area. There is no shower to rinse your body before you get into the pool. There is no guest lift in the building.

Personnel accueillant et toute était propre. Pour le déjeuner continental c'était bien avec un bon choix.

Hotel was clean and staff was helpful. Only issue is the lack of elevators. We had to manually carry our luggage to the 3rd floor.

Great location and we really appreciated the free parking. However breakfast was quite basic and didn't seem very hygienic at times.

The cleanliness of the family room could be better. Specially the bathroom, there were some spots on the walls. Also one of the bed was located right in front of the bathroom door. The breakfast was cold and simple. Air conditioning was helpful specially at summer. Also I did not like the location of the hotel.

Booked this hotel a few weeks before arriving. Upon my arrival couldn’t find the hotel because the entire road was dug up for construction. No notice no instructions just lost driving in circles. They tried their best to make it better. I don’t think I would stay there again

This hotel is not as central as I’d hoped. The road out front was being redone so we had to walk around to get in. It was rainy and muddy when we arrived which gave off a bad first impression. Luckily the sun came out the next day and we enjoyed the 50min walk to Old Town. The breakfast was amazing along with the full time hot chocolate and coffee. Parking was right on sight with no extra charge. If you don’t mind the 50min walk, I highly recommend.

The staff was very nice. We had a hard time finding the building because of the construction, which blocked the main road, but we gave the reception a call, and they were kind and responsive. This is a budget hotel - you get what you pay for. It is rare to get anything in Quebec City for this price. If you only need a place to sleep and are budget-conscious, this is the place for you. The things that were uncomfortable about our stay were the following. The hotel reeked of an air freshener. I read that the previous customer had issues with the colorine, so I think they tried to mask it with the freshener, but the smell was too strong. Also, the way that they hung the mirror was blocking the tap. You couldn't run the tap because of the mirror, so you had to hold the tap if you wanted the water to run. We were also in front of the parking garage, so when we were sleeping, a car was coming to the parking garage, and the headlights woke us up.
