予約した宿がWブッキングで宿泊出来ず、急遽予約し宿泊しました。 予約後5分後位に到着しましたが、暖かく迎えていただきました。部屋はWベッドが四畳半から6畳くらいの部屋に有り 窓を開けると 部屋の中が丸見えで閉めると暗かった。因みに 備品は手洗いソープとタオル位です。ドライヤー シャンプー ボディーソープ は持参が必要です 一番の問題はトイレの水が流れないことです。通常タンクの水が減ると、自動で配管から水が給水されますが、給水されずシャワーの水を自分でタンクに入れて使用しました。 シャワーの湯は不安定で 使用中突然湯だけになったり水だけになったり注意が必要です。 場所は非常にいい場所に有ります。 値段相応の宿だと思います

ウェルカムドリンクは無し。 支払は事前にカードでしたが、 チェックイン時に税金だけ請求されます。 おつりの用意は無いので、ぴったり用意しておいた方がいいです。 ベッドリネンのセンスが良くて、 布団がフカフカでとても寝心地良かったです。

Cold and dark room, staff rather unfriendly. Also pretty noisy, as the room faces a central courtyard, very little sound insulation. Shower scorching hot for 2 minutes, then ice-cold for 5 minutes, then hot again. Also, I was there off-season, literally every single room, including mine, was empty and cleaned. I arrived at 14h, but even though the room was available they tolled me that check-in only starts at 15h and made me wait. Overall, not recommended.

A la réception accueil correct. Escalier raide pour monter à la chambre. Dans ce riad la déco est absente. Atmosphère froide. Idem chambre. Peu de meubles mais fonctionnel. Couette chaude. Propreté correcte. Très calme sauf les chatons qui miaulent en pleine journée. Nuit ok même s'il n'y a pas de chauffage. Douche spatieuse mais rudimentaire. WC vieillot. Évier très étroit. Serviettes en nombre et qui sentent bon. Par contre le petit déjeuner est indigne beaucoup de bouffe industrielle et il faut réclamer des œufs sinon ce serait très médiocre. Café ok. Aller prendre le petit déjeuner ailleurs. Étrangeté la porte principale de l'hôtel reste ouverte la nuit même s'il y a un gardien.

My family and I recently stayed at Riad Sidi Magdoul for a week in the “superior apartment”. On the positive side, the apartment itself was stunningly decorated, showcasing beautiful interior design (typical Moroccan) that made it visually appealing. It was also much bigger than what had been advertised (I would guess appr 80 square meter). The reception area also looked very nice and welcoming, and the location of the hotel was convenient. We only had breakfast once at the riad but thought it was ok and decent priced. However, there were unfortunately several significant issues that overshadowed these positives. Firstly, cleanliness was a concern. The apartment was unusually dirty, even by Moroccan standards, as we have visited Morocco and Essaouira five times before and have never encountered such standard in a riad or apartment (we have a relative living in Essaouira and have also been staying in her apartment). During our stay, we for example encountered at least 10 cockroaches, which was absolutely unacceptable. Moreover, the service was extremely poor. It felt like our apartment wasn’t truly part of the hotel; we weren’t offered any housekeeping whatsoever, although other guests in the hotel received daily service. This was not something that we had been informed of and therefore took us by surprise. To make matters worse, we were charged appr. 10% more for the room than what was agreed with hotels, and the hotel only accepted cash payments. While this is not uncomm

Lovely riad accommodation in a passageway just off one of the main streets in the medina at Essaouira. Breakfast in the central atrium was a lovely way to start the day. A relaxing place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the medina. Room was compact with two single beds but was an authentic road experience.

Sehr nette Gastgeberin und das gesamte Personal. Riad- Inhaber kümmern sich selbst um die Gäste und sind sehr aufmerksam. Merken sich wie man den Kaffee oder welche Teesorte man bevorzugt. Ich bin erkältet angereist und würde sehr gut mit Tees versorgt oder heissen Wasser für die Medizin. Ein schöneres Zimmer würde frei und ich dürfte einziehen. Das Haus ist modern und puristisch eingerichtet. Mann kann eigene Wäsche waschen für einen kleinen Beitrag und am Dach Sonnenbaden.Das Riad ist an bester Lage.

It was perfect! The riad was in a perfect location, it was in the centre of the medina with everything so close by. The room was clean and had all the amenities needed. The breakfast was great and the staff were responsive - Rita was brill! The riad itself was gorgeous, with a lovely rooftop and a great lounge area. We got some great restaurant recommendations from staff too. I definitely will be coming back to this beautiful riad and Essaouira ❤️
