海岸沿いのプロムナードに回しており、海側の部屋からの眺めは素晴らしい。建物はやや古いが、古き良き時代のリゾートホテルといった感じでなかなか趣きがある。我々が泊まった12号室は、とても広々としており、バスタブもついていた。レストランの夕食・朝食とも非常に良かった。

I had a really lovely stay, my room was small but tastefully decorated. There were a few marks on the wall that could do with touching up. The tea tray was good quality as was the breakfast. The best thing about this hotel it the staff who were all fabulous. Be careful of the parking as its only 4 hours on the front so best park at the back if possible.

Awesome restaurant with a true chef

Only there one night. It ws fine.

The food for dinner and breakfast were great. Parking behind the hotel was easy. The area around the hotel is starting to improve with not a lot of dining options. We had high tide and strong winds so the waves were crashing during the evening which was exciting. The room was spacious and the bathroom was good.

I had a lovely stay at The Glengower. It is situated right by the beach and the views are stunning. The room was very clean and comfortable. Cooked breakfast was amazing, the rest was adequate but minimal. The staff were friendly, attentive and efficient. I had an evening meal which I couldn’t fault. Will definitely stay again.

Perfect place to stay for a weekend away

We were “welcomed” by a waitress whose attitude ranged somewhere between laziness and open disdain. When we asked if we could have dinner, she said she could ask if there was a table available, and in the meantime we could sit at one of the bar tables. We politely agreed. What followed was over thirty minutes of watching her wander aimlessly, gossip with colleagues, and do anything but her job. Not once did she come over to give us an update. The only acknowledgment we got were occasional smug, condescending smiles — as if we were some sort of nuisance for daring to be there. When I finally asked if there were no tables, she casually admitted she hadn’t even bothered to check. Only then, after wasting half an hour of our evening, did she suggest she could “go and ask now.” The hotel side was no better: faulty lamps, only one towel, mattresses caving in so badly you roll into the middle, and the constant roar of a kitchen ventilation unit right below our room, ensuring we couldn’t sleep before late at night or after dawn. This place is a masterclass in how to fail at hospitality.

Everything was perfect. Few things could be improved yet: the tap in the bathroom could be less hard to operate.

We only stayed 2 night's but will definitely be going back to stay again.

The hotel was excellent in all areas. It was very well organised, efficient and clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. Overall it was a very pleasant place to stay. We will be back.

This Hotel was a great find!! Check in was simple and everything explained well,hotel itself was very clean with lovely decor.Our room 22 was on the front overlooking the sea very spacious very clean and loved the table and chairs in the bay window to relax and look out!!.We ate at the hotel in the evening and again it turned out to be another excellent experience lovely food lovely staff! Had breakfast in the morning and again an excellent breakfast would highly recommend the Glengower you won’t be disappointed.A quick mention about parking there is free parking out front and back on the roads if you can find a space out the back there is no time limit but on the front it’s free for 4 hours if I remember correctly and that’s up until 6pm!! So if you catch it right you can park at 2 pm and your fine right through until the morning

Fantastic experience, staff were friendly, food was delicious, location was superb and drink choices were perfect.

Lovely clean and comfortable hotel and room. Breakfast could be improved - as a vegan there was plant milk when asked but with a focus very much on a cooked breakfast, the continental breakfast options could have been improved - cereals were boxed and limited pastries. Plant based yogurt would also be a welcome addition.

Beautiful place. Rooms were like new and very well put. Had a view of the ocean which made it special. Food was very good. We liked this place a lot. Had to park on the street.

Gorgeous views. Beautiful hotel. Fabulous breakfast included with room in restaurant below. Only thing that might make this difficult for some people, there aren't elevators.

Charming hotel right on the water and a short walk to town with a nice restaurant and friendly staff

Struttura fantastica, abbiamo soggiornato in una camera luminosissima con vista mare e dormito con il suono delle onde in sottofondo. Hotel pulito, personale efficiente e cordialissimo e ottimo anche il ristorante. Lo consiglio sicuramente.

The Glengower is excellently situated, right on the promenade/beach. It offered a full hot breakfast and the pub itself offers a large and sophisticated menu. Everything we tried over the 3 days we were there was excellent. The parking may be a bit if a problem as the promenade road is very narrow but we found a good spot in the end. The room we had was comfortable tho a little tight.. the staff and service was excellent. We unfortunately did not have a sea view, but I will definitely suggest getting one as the view is excellent.

Lovely place with good food and an excellent location. We loved hearing the waves from our room at night. I would definitely stay again.
