2年前に2泊して全てにおいて素晴らしく、今回ももちろん２泊予約しました。 イギリスもエネルギーの高騰など大変な状況下で仕方ないのかもしれないけど追加したイングリッシュブレックファストは有料になりクオリティは最低。ディナーサーブのチームワークも良くなくて残念で眠れなくなるほどでした。 庭も部屋もよかったのに、程の良いビジネスホテルになってしまっていました。 どうか前の状態になってもらえたら、料金が上がってもいきたいと思います。

イギリスの典型的なカントリーホテルの良さを体感しました。

I've stayed at the hotel multiple times and never had a problem until Wednesday 15th July. The building is obviously old so limited to what they can do, but second floors rooms in peak summer are like pizza ovens. The small ancient fan is not enough and I barely slept.

Guyers House is a lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds. Our room was small but adequate and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant is pleasant and food is nice with a reasonable choice. The breakfast was good.

Our stay was very disappointing despite the attractive grounds. Check in told us nothing. Room was not serviced and had a constant buzzing from somewhere. No breakfast chef on second morning so no cooked breakfast. Cold buffet extremely basic. Restaurant not open either night so had to eat out. Felt empty of guests so bar very uninviting.Didn't discover lounge until second day and then water damaged ceiling and a filthy carpet.

The hotel was ok. Grounds were lovely. Entrance ok, bedroom ok Breakfast experience was terrible. When we arrived for breakfast, 0830 there was no clean tables, limited supply pkt cereal. No juice, and hot plates empty and no plates. One poor girl having to serve tea/coffee, clean tables and replenish food. Booked for 2 nights only stayed one due to poor service

The room booking was wrong but rectified by Trey who did his best to help. The restaurant was closed Sat and Sun evening, even tho other guests had booked table to eat. The female receptionist on Sun morning could not have been less interested in our inquiries about the restaurant closure. The waitresses and other support staff were good and helpful.We suggest that a cover manager is employed while the Manager is on maternity leave. At the moment things are chaotic and i wont be staying there again.

Buddy was great. Always was there for us even when we weren’t looking for him. All the staff was nice. Great. Very helpful!

Delightful situation in picturesque house and gardens. Staff pleasant and friendly though I arrived at the same time as people arriving for a large function so reception staff stretched. The bed was comfy and the room small but pleasant. Could have benefited from a shelf in the bathroom. Dinner was excellent. £21.89 for two medium glasses of ordinary wine was a bit steep. Breakfast was ok, though the chafing dishes needed two heaters to keep the food hot. Overall I'd recommend this hotel.

Staff friendly and helpful rooms ok if dated and need of tlc overall good value.

Lots of parking space, friendly staff, rooms nice, breakfast very good. Unique hotel in beautiful gardens.

Very good hotel with excellent location and gardens Not entirely happy about have a £50 debit sat pending on my bank account.

Large car park on site, lovely greeting from reception staff. Grounds are amazing. Internally the property looks a little tired but the staff make up any for short comings.

Bathroom would welcome refurbishment. Hotel should have made it clear on website that that dining menu would be limited to a Xmas menu.

Room was not ready on arrival, the room had not been used, the heating was off and it was very cold. Staff were courteous and turned heating on which took a while to heat up, especially the hot water. We pre-booked for our dog to be in the room with us, but the promised bed, bowl and welcome pack was not provided, but we did not have to pay the extra charge for this. Breakfast was hugely disappointing with no tomato or hash brown in the "full" english and the remainder, with the sole exception of the egg was dried out, I guess having been kept warm for far too long. We didn't have time to say anything until checkout when the receptionist said she would mention this to the chef. We appreciate we have to eat in the bar with our dog, but this was also cold.

This hotel has so much potential but falls a bit short. Here's why: 1. We arrived by car at a very wet time. The main car park has many deep puddles. The area in front of the hotel is laid to sand. Inside my car is lots of sandy foot marks. This area should be properly laid to gravel or something less grubby. 2. The sign pointing to Reception is suffering from outside exposure. It's hard to see which way the arrow is pointing. Gives a poor welcome. 3. Reception was fine and we had a charming room (No 1) with four poster bed and plenty of room. 4. The electrical sockets are tucked away in difficult places to reach so charging phones etc was awkward. 5. WiFi was good. 6. This bathroom had a sloping ceiling and big beams. There was a sign saying 'Mind Your Head' but who remembers that all the time. If it was my hotel, I would put some neat padding over the hazardous beam. Many old pubs do this with some nice leather and brass studs. 7. There were four small bottles of shampoo, gel, hand cream etc. which were ok for one use. They were not replaced the second day but fortunately we had taken our own supplies. It smacks of a hotel struggling and penny pinching. 8. Actually, there was no hot water in the hotel on Sunday morning so we didn't need the toiletries! 9. Breakfast was very good. Saturday - waitress service and a huge choice of really nice food. Sunday - buffet but also good. 10. The general atmosphere of the hotel is good. Just needs a bit of attention.

This hotel is a long way off a 4* establishment, paint pealing from the bathroom ceilings and walls, mold and damp around the windows, carpets are decades old and the general decor is mismatched and very dated. All the wood in the bathroom was blown and had paint pealing off it.Despite being a pet friendly hotel there doesn’t seem to be any direction on where and when pets are allowed throughout the hotel, maybe this should be briefed on arrival and prevent any ill feelings being directed to your guests. Be prepared on arrival to park your car in a mud filled car park so wear appropriate footwear before leaving the car.

Guyers House Hotel was situated in a beautiful location. Check in was straight forward. Comfortable room. Breakfast was delightful with plenty of choice. Unfortunately we had no hot water on the day of departure to which the reception staff were informed. It would have been nice to have had the compliments refilled as we booked for two nights. The hot chocolate was rather lovely. We recommend Mother & Wild as a local place to eat out in Corsham, friendly staff and fabulous food.
