Nice sized suites and very comfortable but the Wi-Fi was very poor and was unable to do a video meeting.

Booked a king suite and they moved me to a queen bed suite and couldn’t switch me back. Room was in rough shape. Bathroom was not clean (had a used bar of soap in the shower). The toilet was broken and would not flush. They sent someone to fix it, but it broke again afterwards. Hallways smelled as well.

At first glance, it looked impressive. Then the icky, gross, disgusting horrors surfaced during the night. Beautiful hotel ruined by poor maintenance. What a shame! Black mold in bathrooms (front desk shamelessly tried to downplay it as old grout stains), dirty degraded carpets in the rooms and the hallways, unusable in-room sofa-chair (damaged surface; unhygienic to sit on). Their elevator stopped working, guests were having to use the stairs to climb up to the 45h floor. Breakfast only had muffins with coffee, tea, and/or some beverage, but they were hiding the muffins in their office -- false advertisement -- their breakfast was referring to the Denny's in the same parking lot. On top of that, they had a group of guests fighting in the lobby.

Staff not friendly and also not competent. I was not explained all the benefits so I missed some.

Room was okay condition, staff was not the most courteous but the service was still alright

The check in was easy and the staff very friendly. We were given an upgrade, which was a nice surprise.

Good

From the moment I walked in the front doors I felt very warm and cozy. The front desk person was extremely helpful and even offered me a bottle of water. She could tell it was quite tired and thirsty. The nice surprise was when I walked in my room and it was temperature correct and a bigger room that I had anticipated for this trip. Very quiet all through the night I did not hear a sound from other customers or other noises. I slept like a rock. I would definitely be staying here on my next trip up to Abbotsford.
