朝食が美味しい。特にベーコンが美味しい。朝は鳥がさえずる音で目が覚めます。かやぶき屋根の家に泊まれました。 車を利用するとアクセスがよい。バスでもエクセターから１５分の距離です。降りる場所が難しいのが難点。近郊の小さな町へのバスのアクセスもよい。

Everything was very clean and the staff were very helpful and extremely nice. The breakfasts were very good and the cream tea in the tearoom gardens was superb!! Best ever and so plentiful ! No trouble parking.

The staff are friendly, easy to talk to and gave advice on where to eat locally. The room was clean and adequate for our stay, also a bit quirky, the floor definitely had a slope but the building is really old. The breakfast was a good size and cooked freshly. Juice toast and lovely marmalade are also on hand. Parking is fine and the way out is marked, it’s a bit tight but a lot safer than trying to go out directly onto the main road.

Just the one night stay, everything was fine, we had a great breakfast and a very nice cream tea!

Charming cosy cottage. Made to feel welcome. Breakfast perfectly cooked including caffatier of nice fresh coffee. Our ensuite room was spacious and comfortable. Very good value for money. Would highly recommend this property

Parking safe , only problem is a tight corner to get out onto side road. My room was interesting,no walls straight and the floor was lop sided but very comfy. Good selection for breakfast

Friendly owners

A lovely very old building. Sadly what made it uncomfortable was that the building sits right on the roadside and our room was over the front door area where the traffic made it difficult to sleep. The room was small but the beds were comfortable. A heater was provided in the room as no plumbed in heating. The shower had no power but I guess this is perhaps the trade off with such an old building. The gentleman who checked us in and looked after us for breakfast was great and friendly. Super breakfast, freshly cooked and a good selection. Just a shame about its roadside location.
