The receptionist who greeted us was absolutely lovely, setting a warm and welcoming tone for our stay. The room itself exceeded expectations, especially for the price. It was surprisingly spacious for a studio apartment, spotlessly clean & tidy, with fantastic views over the harbour and a central location within walking distance of restaurants, bars, cafes, and shopping. We were also delighted to find a washing machine and dryer—an unexpected bonus. Being a week into a longer holiday up and down the Queensland Coast, it was great to be able to refresh our luggage. The only very minor downside was the lack of glassware, with just one wine glass and no champagne glasses. As our stopover happened to be on New Year’s Eve, my partner ended up drinking our lovely bottle of champagne out of a cup. But hey, it still tasted great, and it made for a funny memory—especially since the rest of the kitchenette was so well-stocked with cookware that you could practically host a dinner party… if only there had been a stovetop or oven! All in all, we found the whole experience amusing and had a fantastic stay. This will definitely be our new go-to road trip stopover!

Stayed one night pre and one night post a Heron Island holiday, which is forced due to flight and ferry times. The staff are lovely, but the hotel is very dated. They’ve tried to update the bathrooms with a refresh, but the rooms are very dated. Carpets are worn and stained. Window locks are broken. Our first room had 6 broken/not working issues, which I advised on a note on departure and requested a different room for our return in 5 days. To their credit, they upgraded us to a suite for the second stay, but it was only marginally better. I think it’s an appropriate FIFO apartment hotel, but not a tourist or business hotel.

2 night business stay. Very spacious, comfortable room, close to the city, nice walks, restaurants, parks and shops.

The unit was nice but had problem with no Foxtel. Bed was okay and kitchen was fine.

Brilliant venue. Very peaceful and a relaxing atmosphere.

Worth paying the extra couple of dollars! All facilities were available. My only issue was the wifi was not existent and the spa bath didn't seem to work. But it was beautiful and comfortable

Size was a huge surprise

Our room was on the ground floor, little view. Plenty of options for dinner. Yatch club excellent. Breakfast options were zero. Required rubbish removal and cleaning were onerous for a one night stay.

bed was terrible, one small chair to watch a very small TV on the wall. no Body shampoo in the shower. shower water covered the most of the floor in the bathroom, and that was with the shower pressure turned right down. Only one glass to have a drink of water with.

Apartment smelt of cigarette smoke and bathroom and kitchen crockery were not clean. Furniture was old and soiled and needs replacing.
