The staff was excellent!

5 stars! For everything! I literally cried when I had to say goodbye to this hotel. It is STUNNING! I have never felt so welcome and connected to a staff at a hotel before. My husband and I spent 7 nights at Casa Pestagua, and it still wasn't enough time. The atmosphere is relaxing and calm. The gourmet breakfast is beyond extraordinary, and the menu has so many choices. There wasn't anything I asked for that the staff didn't go above and beyond to help accommodate my requests. Definitely go to the spa at the sister hotel for a treatment and take the private boat to Acasi for the day. The pool is a paradise escape during the heat of the Cartagena afternoons. I would like to personally thank Louis, Carlos, Amanda, and Yeily for taking care of us and making us feel at home. Thank you so much to everyone else on staff, too. I will be returning to Cartagena, if only to relax and enjoy this hotel, it's superb service, and see the familiar and friendly faces of the Casa Pestagua team.

Excellent Hotel in the heart of Cartagena

Absolute paradise

The incredibly warm and friendly staff were the best part of our stay in this beautiful hotel, and the breakfasts and dinner in the hotel’s restaurant were amazing!! Would definitely stay at this property again during a future stay in Cartagena.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Every member of staff goes out of their way to make the hotel your home. From housekeeping to pool staff to reception to waiters to Operations to reservations- all seamlessly working together to offer the best experience. Big shout out to Leo for producing perfect bite at 1am!!

The main differentiating feature at this wonderful RC is the friendliness and attention to service by staff and management. Remembering small preferences and remembering names and likes for breakfast are a couple of examples. Of course and we’ll take care of it are ingrained into the staff. We’d go back in a heartbeat and strongly recommend to one and all.

Beautiful hotel in the historic part of Cartagena. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. Best part of the hotel is the staff and the level of service, just incredible.

Very nice

From the moment we arrived to our 6:30 am departure (with lovely bagged breakfasts in hand) we were treated like royalty. This hotel is as close to perfect as a hotel can be. Be sure to try their restaurant for lunch or dinner. They’ve crafted a fusion of local fare with Lebanese and the resulting dishes are amazing.

Cannot say enough wonderful things about Casa Pestagua in Cartagena’s Walled City. It was a beautiful hotel in the heart of the Walled City, just one or two blocks away from all the major historic sites. On their street were also the best restaurants and nice shops. But most of all, the absolute best part about Casa Pestagua is her staff. I’m just 3 days off being there, we were greeting everyone by their first names because they likewise always greeted us by name and with full genuine smiles. Thank you Katherine, Nuris, Brando, Leo, David, Carlo, Caroll, Hernan and Diocelin. You made our short trip to Cartagena truly memorable. Hope to see you again soon, even if we forgot to “pat Hertrudes on the back” 😜

Truly amazing stay! The staff, food, rooms, beds, pool, and drinks exceeded expectations. Must stay if you want a relaxing and quaint experience, it almost felt like you didn’t want to leave the villa. Highly recommend!

I have no words to express my experience in this hotel. This is the best example what an excellent customer service is. I have been many times in Cartagena and never been to a place like this. Food, Location, Service, Everything was impecable. I would like to highlight the amazing team who took care of me, Katherine the team leader, as well as Caroline the host. Amanda the bartender, Leo the concierge, David the captain, and German. And my waitresses Diocelin, Ivón, and Yenifer. They will guarantee as well as the rest of the team to make your vacations the most beautiful experience ever.

The staff and team at Casa Pestagua practice and reflect the best in personal client service. My wife and I felt they made the difference in our vacation and we are grateful. Beautiful property and warm comfortable rooms.
