とても快適にすごせました

商店街にも近くスーパーやレストランもあるロケーションで、バスやタクシー乗り場も近くにありました。フロントの方は感じよくスムーズにできました。でも、一つ、お部屋はホテルというより病院に泊まっているようでした。

短期滞在には問題ないです。

ロンドンに比べて部屋は広く日当たりも良いのですが、日本よりはるかに大きいハエが10匹くらい部屋にいました。 評価を読んで安心して滞在しましたが、客層はバックパッカー向けのようなイメージです。 移民への反感が強いからなのか、フロントの方の対応はあまりよくありませんでした。 滞在を縮小するために、返金依頼するのには、イギリス人の知人に立ち会ってもらわないといけませんでした。中心地にも近いしwifiは速く、安定していますが、あまり期待はしない方なら問題ないかもです。

可もなく不可もない感じです。 レンタカーを駐車したら、1日7ポンドでした。朝食はビュッフェ形式で食べたい物を選べます。トリプルルーム利用しましたが、スーツケース3個を余裕で広げられる大きさの部屋でした。 お風呂はシャワーのみで、トイレと洗面と床が一緒なので、なんとなく嫌でした。

大通りから少し中に入っているため静かです。しかし近くにレストラン、スーパーマーケットがあり便利です。チッペナムはバスの拠点ですが、バスのターミナルまでは７－8分です。リフトが完備していて玄関先から荷物の移動で苦労することはありません。部屋も大きく快適です。朝食はイングリッシュブレックファーストのバイキングスタイルで味も悪くありませんので大食漢のはたまりません。また、洗濯機があるのも助かります。

チェックインして部屋に入り、フロントに確認したいことあり、電話しようとしたら電話が故障中。仕方なく、3階から1階までわざわざ降りて話しに行くことに。その後、wifi接続しようとチェックイン時にもらったID、PWで接続しようとしたら、既に他人によって使われたもので、接続できず再発行が必要だった。電話が故障中なので、また、3階から1階まで話しに行くはめに。

ホテルのフロントは荷物をこころよく預かっくれ、かつ預かり証までもらえ、安心してバイブリー、ボートン・オン・ザ・ウォーターを見物できた。また駅までのタクシーも気持ちよく呼んでもらえた。 値段が割安なわりには、清潔で湯ぶねもついていた。

部屋は広いが、ティッシュペーパーなし、椅子やテーブルはレストランも含めてプラスチックで安っぽい。ほんとうに寝るだけのホテル。朝食もバイキングながら簡素。卵を自分で焼くらしかった。二日目にソーセージとベーコンが出た。朝食につきもののトマトやマッシュルーム、ビーンズもなし。

今回ロンドンからコーチでチェルトナムに入ったので、コーチステーションから近いこと、そして値段を検討材料としていました。そして、ホテルの写真を見て、比較的、新しく、明るい雰囲気だったので決めました。行ってみると、ホテルは白を基調をしたポップな雰囲気で、シンプルながらキレイに清掃されており、2泊の滞在は快適でした。朝食もその場で作ってくれるものではありませんでしたが、ソーセージやベーコンなどがあり、シリアルも色々選べたり、朝食としては、十分でした。何よりホテル代が安いので、コストパフォーマンスとしては、最高でした。

Able to check in early. Friendly staff. Lovely room. Onsite parking. Another pillow each would have been good but it didn't detract from our overall stay.

The hotel appeared dirty and had an odd smell. The room itself was not very nice. The windows were saturated with condensation which made the windowsill soaking wet which caused a damp environment. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and had a huge dip on one side. Also having a double room the beds pushed together was uncomfortable. The room was not clean, dirt on the bathroom floor and sink. The room was full of dust and grime.

This is a property I have recurrently stayed at over the years when visiting Cheltenham. The staff are friendly and accommodating; the rooms are remarkably spacious (even if not impeccably clean due to lack of daily housekeeping since Covid); and the hotel location is excellent -- walking distance from the town center, the town hall, the Everyman's theatre, and the pubs/restaurants. For travelers who are not overly fussy, this will be a comfortable hotel to stay at. If staying longer than a couple of days, you can request a room clean and a change of linen. Also, staff at reception usually hand out clean towels and other toiletries as needed. I hope this helps!

The Citrus hotel is really well located for the centre of Cheltenham. The service we received was good. When we arrived at the hotel we checked in easily and were located on the 4th floor which was no problem at all. When we entered the room we found it to be freezing cold. We could not see out of the window due to it being soaking wet with puddles of water on the window sill. There was a heater in the room that had not been switched on but was working. The spotlight above the television was hanging out of the ceiling and we also found that the sink in the bathroom did not drain away. The beds were comfortable and we experienced a good nights sleep with very little noise. On leaving the property there was a broken tile on the steps which I slipped on twice. There was a cone when we arrived to highlight where not to step but this was often either not in the right place or missing completely. The breakfast area had tables and chairs that were all plastic and felt a bit like a canteen but the breakfast itself was perfectly adequate.

Good hotel close to all amenities. Room comfy, great shower 😊 only issues curtains don’t cover length of windows, parking is first come, first served! And if you’ve got a room roadside it’s noisy! I did ask for a quiet room, away from the road.
