We stayed at the hotel to attend a family wedding in the area and everything was lovely. We wished we had more time to enjoy the amenities. We will return!

Wakefield is a cute town, and the mill is a pretty setting. The hotel room itself was fine, but was below my expectations given the nightly rate.

Nice bright and large bedroom in the Annex facing a beautiful garden. Large patio door. No balcony. Quiet air conditioning. Large shower. Very beautiful landscape in the Spa area facing the river and very private. Good food at the bistro and very friendly service. Nice outdoor sitting for the summer.

Upscale, great restaurant and lovely town close.

The picture of the room upon booking showed a patio door view of the forest. However, there was the hotel pool between our room and the forest, which affected our privacy. So I find the picture misleading. Everything else was amazing.

We stayed for 2 nights in the Eco lodge on the 2nd floor.We left feeling as though we were at a resort!From the well appointed room,slightly dated ,mainly the shower, to the pool and hot tub(VERY hot btw)to the amazing food at the restaurants(breakfast at Muse,supper at Heron wine bar with a live jazz duo!)all excellent,includingthe staff!Amazing stay and can't wait to return!Not our first stay and certainly won't be our last!

Beautiful property in a wonderful natural setting. Maybe I missed it but wish there was a wall or some kind of display on the history of the property. Also, seemed like uninterested college kids running the front desk, spa, restaurants and bar. Otherwise great place.

Gorgeous setting. The grounds are beautiful. It is an older hotel but well maintained. You cannot beat waking to a view of a waterfall. We did not try the restaurants.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for two nights in one of the annex buildings, and everything was excellent. The room offered beautiful views and great amenities, and the hotel grounds were lively and well-maintained. The location was perefect , with easy accwss to the charming streets of Wakefield and historical and scenic attractions. The breakfast was outstanding, and all of the staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and hospitable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return to this hotel in the future. Highly recommended.
