景色が素晴らしく、歴史を感じさせる建物。美味しい朝食とコーヒー。ゆっくりできました。

駅からすぐ近くですが、入り口ゲートからしばらく坂を登る必要があり、荷物が重いと少し大変です。 ホテルは全体に古いようで、部屋の家具などは年季が入っています。最近のホテルにあるような、卓上のコンセントやUSBの充電口はありませんでした。 泊まった部屋には冷蔵庫がなく、したがってミニバーもありませんでした。もちろん、冷房もありませんが、8月中旬でも朝晩は涼しかったです。 それ以外は、部屋は広く、不都合は感じませんでした。 リゾート地の洗練されたホテル、ではありませんが、田舎の村ののんびりしたホテルとしては快適です。 部屋からは、ユングフラウとシュタウプバッハの滝がよく見えました。

駅に近く、ロケーションは良い。しかし５つ星ホテル並みの料金だったのに、部屋に水もお茶を入れる器具もない。部屋も最上階の７階で屋根裏のため、天井が傾いており、頭をぶつけそうになる。駅に近いため、団体ツアー客が中心で、個人の滞在客の割合は少ないようだ。

Charming hotel very close to the Wengen train stop. Be prepared for a short uphill walk. Booked via a third party and had no problems. Fantastic included breakfast (juices, yogurt, eggs, pastries, cereals). Staff were prompt and respectful. We upgraded to a balcony room with a mountain view that was very worth it, gorgeous views. There is a sauna with free access in the evenings but we did not try it. My only trouble was many people smoking on the surrounding patios. Not the hotels fault, but it really diminished our ability to enjoy the patio and vistas and fresh air with intrusive cigarette smoke. The patio doors don't fully seal and so smoke wafted in overnight too. I would avoid the restaurant and bar, you can get food and drinks far cheaper elsewhere in town

We stay in room 307, amazing views, 2 balconies, very clean…

The entire experience was terrible. The staff wasn't pleasant or willing to help or assist. The rooms were old and tired and smelled like a care center. Only a few of the outlets worked. Our rooms were never cleaned during out stay. We requested an iron and the front office staff was really put out with the request. The hotel has nice amenities are but not available for the guest. I would never stay at this hotel again.

Everything would be perfect if the hotel would be brought to 21 century. It is old and it shows that. Surprisingly it’s a very clean place

Absolutely love the hotel. It is beautiful and has the most amazing views.

This is a charming 100+ year old hotel. It has fantastic views and the staff was very helpful. Make sure to get a room with a balcony. This would be floors 1-4. Rooms on the 5th floor only have a double window and the 6th floor you are in the attic. In the summer time this is important because you want as much cross ventilation as possible. In the winter should not be a problem. Breakfast was ok but was hoping for more variety. Rooms need remodeling. You have to deal with tubs that have a high side and no counter space around the sink. This could be a fabulous property if they would make the investment to renovate their rooms. We were still happy with our stay as the views could not have been better and it did cool down in the later evening.

I really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The best part is we arrived earlier then check-in (among many other travellers) and they allowed us to keep our luggage at the hotel until our room was ready, allowing us to explore Wengen luggage free. They even did the same at check-out, could leave our luggage. The breakfast was also delicious and I highly suggest paying the extra to have it included in your stay!

It has the charm of an historic hotel and is staffed by very lovely people. The views from the hotel are wonderful. The hotel had a live singer who performed for the guests as we ate on the terrace outside while taking in the stunning views. The breakfast room is stunning with delicious coffees and food. We had a gorgeous hike from the hotel to The Eiger Glacier Station, with the most dramatic views of the Glacier. Highly reccommend!

Excellent location with great views, let down by poor plumbing in the bathroom and infuriatingly, no power points near the bed, and the power points across the other side of the room turned off when we turned the lights off at night.

So, the view from mountain view rooms/balcony cannot be beat! Staff was very formal, but helpful. Nice location for exploring Wengen and train access to further up the mountain.

Amazing view, super friendly staff, and breakfast was goos

Hotel must have been nice in its heyday. Unfortunately that must have been a hundred years ago. We had a leaky faucet, rusted sink and a bathtub that should have been retired in the 90’s. The front desk staff was pretty useless - particularly on check-in when they should have offered us the discount card. The balding guy that worked the morning of June 26 was particularly a rude and useless snob. Breakfast was a delight and the views were spectacular, but it didn’t make up for putting us in a corner room near the cleaning closets - especially when there were other more pleasant room available.

I completely recommend this place. It has a great location, beautiful views and excellent pianist and singer. Great breakfast. No facility to wash your clothes, but they can do it for you at their price. Also, I would like to recognize the great job the waiters do at breakfast.

Pros: Location very close to station. Breakfast was good with a large spread. Cons: Room gets very hot and stuffy and staff was no help in providing a fan, opening windows at night only did so much. Room and building very outdated, had one plug in the room, staircase up no lights and dark, stained carpets. Bathtub is a hazard, very high step in/out with no railing to hold onto.
