Constant road works until 1am with bedroom windows facing the road works and noisy potholes and the noise from generators running all night. It would have been nice to have been advised of the roadworks as I would have packed earplugs but zero communication.

Had 4 units for a function. Every one was filthy and sheets in one had sand in it! Even men’s underwear left in a drawer.

Sure! Here’s a more concise version suitable for an Expedia review: --- Burleigh Surf Apartments has a fantastic beachfront location with spacious units and great ocean views. However, the quality varies since each apartment is individually owned. Our unit had cleanliness issues, including stained blankets and a poorly cleaned kitchen. The pool was closed for half our stay, and construction noise started at 8 a.m. two floors above us—none of which was disclosed before booking, despite it being prepaid and non-refundable. We were locked out on day one due to a faulty key and had to wait over 30 minutes and make multiple calls for help, as the front desk is only open during business hours. We were also told not to use the deadbolt, which was inconvenient. We lost our key on the last day and were charged \$200 for a replacement, but no documentation was provided despite asking. Attempts to contact management during our stay went unanswered. The location and views are excellent, but improvements in cleaning, communication, after-hours support, and fee transparency are needed.

Great location, easy access and a very comfortable apartment. Absolutely recommend.

The apartment we were in was lovely with a great outlook and well equipped kitchen. The second bedroom was very small but had a good ensuite. While the room was lovely, the apartment is on the road where the new light rail is being built. They worked through the night so the noise was bad, so bad we had to buy ear plugs. Dirt was stirred up by the winds and you had to wait a long time to cross the road to go to the supermarket or restaurants. I wouldn’t stay here again until the road works are finished.

The ocean view from the apartment was amazing. The kitchen had everything in it that your kitchen at home has. The beach is right across the street, the pools are lovely, shops and paces to eat ae close by. We will definitely be staying again.

Top spot to stay perfect position very nice apartments

Beautiful views. Wasn’t overly clean (mouldy bathroom, all items in kitchen cupboards needed to be washed before use, sheets were fine but doona covers were dirty) which put an overall dampener to the trip. Washing machine ran but hardly washed clothes? Also we were on level 16 and the sound of the GC hwy was loud, not to mention night works that we weren’t informed of prior to our stay……….

Beautifully situated apartment overlookiny burleigh beach. Luxurious and super spacious. Absolutely loved our stay and will be back again soon with the kids next time! Everything you could need was within walking distance. Found our new yearly holiday spot.

Nice spacious apartment but could do with a bit of upgrade/cleaning. Heatpump was mouldy and filthy, bathroom ceilings need a clean. Rest of apartment was lovely. Incredibly noisy from both road works throughout every night and also dog barking constantly next door. Lots of people noise from road too. Great position for walks and beaches and nice outlook from balcony.

Yes, the apartment itself is a little dated, but you could not fault the cleanliness and everything you need to have a comfortable stay is there. The facilities of the complex are excellent amd all staff are very lovely. A little bit of construction from the Gold Coast Highway and to the North of the property an old building was being demolished but we did not find the noise excessive. Frankly the closer you get into Burleigh the more constrution, noise and road works, being in North Burleigh this complex has relatively minimal disruption. Will come back for sure.
