目の前がGaleries Lafayetteという、買い物好きにはたまらないセッティング、でも部屋がちょっと三つ星とはいえないレベル。ダブルベッドだから二人泊まりの想定なのに、座椅子は一つ、勿論ソファ、テーブルもない。クローゼットのハンガーも碌なものが無い。外の騒音が丸きこえ、大きい荷物を置いてLa Rochelleへでかけて帰ってきてからの部屋は表通りに面していて真夜中の酔客のどなりごえがうるさかったし、部屋の水道の出がチョロチョロでシャワーを浴びる気にもならなかった。内装の飛び抜けたデザインも人によっては好みが分かれるところ。でもスタッフの対応はすばらしかった。この落差は何だろうと考えてしまいました。

I had a great stay at the Hotel de la Presse. Staff was always friendly, breakfast was great, and I personally enjoyed the central location at the busy shopping area close to many attractions, restaurants, and public transportation. My room met my expectations given the hotel ranking and the photos: the room was pretty small, but it had everything I needed for my stay. One con in the room was the working station: the desk was too high compared to the chair height, so it would have been impossible to actually work there comfortably. I'm happy to recommend this hotel if you are looking for an affordable place with friendly staff and a superb location in beautiful downtown of Bordeaux.

Great location, clean and spacious.

Hotel céntrico, ideal para visitar la ciudad. Las habitaciones bastante pequeñas. El personal de recepción va muy justo en amabilidad. Una vez registrados salimos a dar una vuelta y cuando volvimos la recepcionista nos preguntó el número de habitación pero con una actitud de desconfianza, como si nos quisiéramos colar en el hotel.

Compte tenu du prix affiché je ne m'attendais pas aux services d'un 4etoiles, ais avoir de l'eau chaude pour se doucher le matin était un minimum. Je ne parle pas de l'insonorisation extérieure qui m'a valu un bon réveil en pleine nuit avec les "passants" de la rue ste catherine. Bref... a revoir

Was a good location in the heart of Bordeaux. It was close to all the shopping and dining you can think of. The room was quite nice, the bed and room were clean. i’d recommend this stay

Chambre mediocre avec un rideau a moitie decroche qui a laisse oasser la lumiere et terriblement bruyante car passages des 4h du matin du camion de proprete. Bref peu d'heures de sommeil pour une journee de travail dense. Le prix de la chambre est surevalue...

Værelse støvet og ikke rent nok selv med 3 overnatninger. Utrolig parfumeret på værelset.

Very centrally located with lots of shopping and dining options around. Unfortunately there is a smell as soon as you walk up to the reception. The room was small and the shower (which is not separated by a wall) was dripping and not stoppable.

La chambre était bien plus petite que prévue, elle n’est pas en photo sur hôtels.com. Attention pour les clostrophobes. Les chambres sont dans leur jus, avec des taches douteuses, fissures et autres et les couloirs sentent le renfermé. L’hôtel est bien placé, mais il n’y a aucune isolation sonore côté rue, il est donc impossible de dormir convenablement. Pour finir, le terminal de paiement de l’hôtel ne fonctionnait pas, nous avons écopé d’un aller et retour à la banque pour clôturer l’expérience. Point positifs: le petit déjeuner qui s’est révélé être très bon et le personnel de nuit, qui doit avoir plusieurs boites de boules quies d’avance.

Excelente ubicación. La habitación demasiada pequeña y cara. Por estar ubicada en una calle con mucho movimiento hay mucho ruido en las noches.
