施設は広くて良いのですが、毎日のハウスキーピングと書いてある条件は誤りでした。私たちの滞在の際は１日おきにしかベットメーキングはありませんでした。またフロントとレストランの連携はされていなく、フロントでは朝食の事前予約は不要、レストランに行くと予約はしないと困ると言われたり、接遇に疑問が残ります。

Fantastic stay at Village Cabo Girao. The appartment was spacious and clean. Kitchen well equipped. Amazing views. Restaurant staff were welcoming and super friendly, special mention to Madalena and Maria. Food was delicious, ate twice at restaurant. Kids had a great time in the swimming pools. Tennis courts, mini golf, snooker tables, table tennis available. Plenty to do!

Excellent séjour au village Cabo Girao. Personnel agréable et polyglotte, appartement vaste et bien équipé, parking sur place, très nombreux équipements gratuits à disposition (piscines, sauna, jacuzzi hammam, minigolf, tennis, padel, bowling green, ping pong etc ..). Le lieu est central pour visiter Madère ou accéder aux randonnées, à une heure maximum de chaque destination. Bref, a recommander.

Prima accommodatie, schoon, ruim en veel gratis faciliteiten (tennis, midgetgolf). Fijn binnen- en buitenzwembad + jacuzzi. Restaurant is ook prima. Bij de accommodatie meer dan genoeg parkeerplekken voor huurauto. Village Cabo Girao is op 20 min rijden van Funchal en een prima uitvalsbasis voor wandelingen op Madeira.

Hébergement spacieux. Très bien situé. Joli vue. Des activités sur place pour les enfants : piscine, mini golf… très bien entretenus .

Wonderful quiet stay in a great area close to all major roads. Free shuttle service to 3 other restaurants and happy hour every night. Breathtaking views. Highly recommended ❤️

Well situated, very clean, staff helpful. One disappointment would be to charge 3 euros for a towel to enjoy the pool. Bad judgement on their part in my view.

Excellent location. Beautiful ocean view. Short walk to Skyview. Excellent daily shuttle service to Funchal. No need for car rental.

Sehr sauberes Zimmer, schöner Pool mit grandioser Aussicht. Der Sangria schmeckt sehr lecker. Ein Stern Abzug, da die Sauna nicht funktioniert hat.

This is a beautiful location with stunning views. Just be aware that it the shuttle bus from the resort doesn't always go into town everyday. The village is far from Funchal and the public transportation is not always reliable or ontime. I booked this place in December 2025 for the gym, the view, tranquility and the pools. The gym is NOT really a gym. It is a tiny room with a new treadmill and old bike and a weight machine. At times several ppl tried to use the gym at the same time but this was not possible due ot the small space. The gym is stuffy and also has no wifi or any exteral views.The pols are not heated so I did not swim. There was no cleaning during my 8 days stay. There were 🐜 's in the kitchen. Someone came once to empty the in and change the towels. The kitchen has good equipment and is spacious. The place is dated and could definitely do with a refurb to take it into 2026. I liked the location and might go back .

Here’s a cleaner, sharper, and more polished version that keeps the bite but reads as credible, composed, and devastatingly clear (the kind hotels actually fear): ⸻ This place has enormous potential, but the staff make the experience genuinely awful. We have stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world, and we have never encountered this level of disdain for guests. The front desk staff openly laugh at guests and seem to take pride in making stays more difficult. Need towels for the sauna? Be prepared to pay to “rent” one—only to be told you must keep that same towel for the entire stay. That means using it in the sweaty sauna, then for your shower, then at the pool. Fresh towels are never provided. Housekeeping? There is none. Rooms are not cleaned at any point during your stay—no new towels, no tidying, nothing. Beds have no sheets, just a comforter that appears never to have been washed. Hot water lasts about 30 seconds, and no one will address it. Early check-in or late check-out is flatly denied, often with smug smiles, as if refusing basic hospitality is a point of pride. The on-site shop closes early without warning—don’t expect staff to tell you that you need to arrive before 1 p.m. if you want water or essentials. The “heated” pool was freezing cold, as were the sauna and hot tub. No staff were available to help with malfunctioning equipment, filthy locker rooms, or—once again—towels. This property has great bones, but the customer service is shockingly bad.

God indretning af lejligheden og fin udsigt. Der var det der skulle være, bl.a. i køkkenet. Opvaskemaskine var dog savnet.

Lovely staff, great location and amenities. Decor was a little dated but that’s okay.
