ツインルームで1人で泊まりましたが、お部屋だけでなく共有場所も綺麗にされていて広くて快適でした。シティーセンターにも近くて、買い物も便利でした。

街の中心にほど近い Exeter Central 駅から徒歩 5 分弱、ロンドンからの直通電車が停まる Exeter St. David's 駅からも徒歩 10 分弱と、移動にも買い物にも便利が良い。そもそも街自体がそれほど騒がしくないのだが、閑静な住宅街といった風情の中にある。古いアパートメントを改装したものと思うが、外装も内装もリノベートされており、部屋もバスルームも広く綺麗で、バスタブもある。古い建物の雰囲気と近代的な設備の両方のバランスがうまくとれている。ただ、建物の作り上、エレベータが 4 階建てのうち 3 階までしか行かない（イギリス流表現では 2 階までだが）。残念ながら行く機会が無かったが、ホテルについているレストランの評判がかなり良いと現地の友人から聞いた。朝はそのレストランでフル・イングリッシュ・ブレックファストが出されるが、これをちょっと違うタイプの朝食に変えることもできて、連泊する場合には有り難い。フロントは 7 時から 23 時の間しか人がいないので、チェックイン・チェックアウトの時間には注意。滞在中は電子キーで夜中でも出入り可能。あと、朝食の開始時刻が平日は 7:30、土日祝は 8:00 と少し遅めなので、朝早く出なければならない人はこれも注意。

大学の学会参加ですが、エクセター大学まで徒歩で行けました。エクセター観光で有名な大聖堂と、川べりまで、デパートや食堂までホテルから歩いて、20分でした。

無料wifiとのことでしたが、システムの入れ替えがなんとかで、wifiは滞在中一度も繋がりませんでした。要確認です。

素晴らしいホテルでした。何と言ってもバスルームが広く、ヨーロッパにしては珍しいほど立派なバスタブでした。また、駅からも比較的近く便利なロケーションで、朝食も良かったです。問題があるのは、部屋のキーが１つしかもらえなかったことです。夫婦で滞在したのですが、私は仕事、家内は観光で別行動だったので、キーが1つというのは非常に不便でした。また、8時には仕事に出かける必要があったので、朝食が7時半からと言うのは、せっかくの美味しい朝食をゆっくり食べることができず、非常に残念でした。朝食を7時からにして頂けたら、助かりました。

Easy parking close by very attentive and helpful staff right in the center of Exeter

Room quite small for two adults, bathroom was pretty much same size as the room. Loft room very warm despite fan provided, but warm weather doesn’t help. No towels in the room , one coffee cup , no spoon . Breakfast open 730am , touch late for an early start! Bar closed on our arrival just after 9pm

Close to pay and display car park, only had 2 towels and no bath mat or hand towels.

Staff were very polite and helpful. Very nice breakfast. Cleaning would benefit from more attention. Rubbish left under dressing table, very dusty TV and some surfaces. Over half of one curtain was hanging off curtain rail making it difficult to fully draw the curtains. A little more attention to detail would make a huge difference.

A nice twin room overlooking the rear of the hotel and kitchen extraction which meant we had to close the windows when breakfast started. It's a noisy, creaky hotel so no lie in. Room was clean but other areas of hotel felt not so. There was a random mop and bucket of dirty water on the stairs the whole time we were there. Staff very friendly and helpful. Parking easy (on a sunday) with £7 permit from hotel. Breakfast was lovely, a decent choice and English breakfast items were great. Great location for town centre. For a one night stay it was ideal at the price we paid.

Rommet var støvete og burde vært fjernet alle gamle løse tepper Frokost helt grei, men ikke noe skinke eller oster.

My room was on top floor, a bit warm but had a fan. Bathroom was nice and clean but the carpet in the rest of room needed a good vacuuming. Also quite dusty, but for the price, it was ok. Breakfast was traditional English. Coffee is never to my American tastes

Everything was so great delicious hot breakfast and beautiful comfortable stay.

The staff were excellent, we were greeted with friendly courtesy every time. The breakfast was excellent with a great range of choices. The room was interesting with a very comfortable bed with clean bedding. The bathroom was clean and had everything we needed, although it would have been nice to have had large bath towels. The only real criticism I would have is that the carpet and curtains in our room were absolutely filthy, the latter had a huge coffee/tea stain on the bottom. There was visible dust on the furniture but, in their defence, the furniture was dark wood which is likely to show every speck of dirt. Much of the decor was rather gothically gloomy but I presume that was intended to be in keeping with the period feel of the building. For an overnight stop in Exeter it was perfectly adequate and was very central which was useful. It was great to have a car park right opposite the hotel.

Parking was easy in the square opposite. The room was lean and bed comfortable. Good shower. Could do with a bit of a refresh. Decor looked a bit tired particularly the bathroom flooring. Breakfast was a good choice and tasty. Friendly staff. Great value for money. Excellent location. Super quiet but walkable into the city.

Sehr gute und recht ruhige Lage in der Nähe des Bahnhofs, Das Bett war nicht riesig, aber das Zimmer und das Badezimmer waren anständig gross. Das Frühstücksbuffet bot eine grosse Auswahl. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.
