The property is under renovations. I knew this when I made the reservation, so was expecting the slight chaos that goes with a full renovation. The room we stayed in had not yet been renovated, so expected the dirty carpet. The bed was extremely firm which did not help my back any, however I still got a decent amount of sleep.

A friend and I came over from the coast to stay and go Round up and the hotel was very nice and clean, looked like they were in a remodel, but with all that going on it still was nice and clean. We got in super late on the day of check in and the young gentleman was so friendly and understanding. I forget his name though, but he was great and got us checked in relatively quick.

Middle of a remodel. Our room had no closet, no closet! Had to ask at desk for a hair dryer. Handicapped accessible water spout was way too high for me to reach. Beed was comfortable. Breakfast was good.

Due to the property being remodeled, I did not do high marks. It was very clean even in the remodel and there was limited noise. I would definitely rebook after the remodel

The property is brand new and still under construction in one wing the areas that are finished are great!!

Very nicely proportioned bedrooms, dog friendly. Check in with evening receptionist left a lot to be desired had to ask about check out, breakfast, and pool times, only to find out pool is closed. He swiped for extras but no extras available, no bar, no food as the whole hotel is a building site and being renovated. Worse aspect was the electric charging points were blocked by non electric cars. Should be lovely after renovations.

Pool was closed and vending machines were shut down. And after the stay they still charge for a second deposit. Who does that?

room carpet was old and dirty

They were under construction it smelled of mastic, varnish and sheetrock dust, so we immediately asked for a refund. they told us to contact you. Which we did. Now Expedia says they contacted management at the hotel to refund our money because we did not stay there even one and we were charged for two nights. According to the email I received from Expedia the hotel refused to cancel the room charges, they told us Expedia has to cancel the charges, so we are getting the royal runaround. :( So we are extremely hesitant to stay at IHG again and to use Expedia.

They are remodeling and going about it ALL WRONG!! We had to breathe drywall dust the entire time! We got in late. I called ahead and the front desk girl never mentioned that you were remodeling. They are remodeling everywhere wherever they choose so your morning breakfast is full of gypsum.. lovely.. there’s cigarette butt’s everywhere outside, the room we stayed in smelled of offgass from the new paint, new caulking, new carpet.. not a good thing as you would know in a common sense thinking type of scenario. Don’t stay here unless you love to be around this. OH and when I asked about the pool over the phone, she said it was open.. well if you want just go take a look through the window! The pools not even covered and that’s where they are storing all the construction materials and cutting! Good luck cleaning it all up! That will take some serious labor.. never again will I ever stay here.. Word to the wise, AVOID!

We were traveling from Oregon to Arizona and stopped at this hotel to take a break. While the staff was friendly, the room was in poor condition. The carpet was dirty, the curtains were torn, and there were cobwebs on the walls. The hotel's website features misleading photos that don't reflect the actual state of the room. Unfortunately, due to spring break and limited availability at other nearby hotels, we had no choice but to stay. We ended up paying for a room that did not meet even basic standards of cleanliness and quality, making it impossible to rest.

Construction underway in lobby and third floor. Noisy folks above us, walking and running. Room was adjacent to noisy I-5 and poorly insulated. Bed was aged and sagging in the center. Long past time to replace the mattress and possibly the box springs. Plumbing loose in the bathroom. And we paid more for this place than I ever have in Red Bluff. Total rip off.

Need to fix pool and hot tub as advertised

Room and hotel was fine. Did have some construction going on as they’re doing renovations. Only complaint is that the bed was uncomfortable

Always like Holiday Inn Express

Hotel was under construction so lobby had a staging area for remodel materials. Pool was out of commission and was being used as storage for the renovations as well. Staff was very friendly and professional, hotel room was clean and comfortable. Sheets and bedding were good quality& pillows came in 2 types of firmness. Water pressure and temperature in the shower was great. Many choices at the breakfast provided with plenty of time to get food before they closed the kitchen. We will stay here again.

Easy check-in. Friendly staff. The room was spacious. So glad we stayed. There is a gas station next door and that was convenient.
