The food we had at Dinner and Breakfast was very good. The area round the hotel was terrible and was in fact in places inaccessible, and the carpark was difficult to access by vehicle and dangerous to walk to due to broken surfaces and strange ramps. Our car is not really big or wide unlike more modern cars, but we struggled to park the car in a bay so we could get out of the car and when we returned to it someone had parked alongside so we had to crawl in from the back over the seats. Not a way to feel relaxed. There is scaffolding around the hotel and workmen were drilling into the wall of our room before 8.30am. No mention of any of the works in the info prior to our arrival even though they are obviously long term works.

Convenient for airport and for short stays with easy access to London and surrounds. Great breakfast choices. Clean and well maintained surroundings.

First class shower. Staff very helpful. I can recommend if you have to go to Harlow this is the place to stay!

The property is also conveniently located, just about a 10-minute walk from Harlow Station. The room was clean, well maintained, and nicely decorated, making it a comfortable and relaxing place to stay. I would definitely recommend it.

They were doing renovation work which started around 10am on Saturday morning. The drilling felt as if it was right next to my room. I spoke to the receptionist who said it had been advised on their website. I booked it via third party so didn’t look at the website. I suggested making people aware with a sign at reception, but nothing done. I am not neurodivergent but that noise would be a nightmare for people who are, the guests should be made aware at reception. Poor from holiday inn express.

Complicated parking. Small rooms. Good breakfast. OK value for the money.

The only problem was parking as the hotel car park was closed as they are refurbishing. There is a big multi-storey car park next door but difficult to find the entrance. Otherwise good place for an overnight stay. Staff are friendly, rooms nice and lovely breakfast.

A bit difficult to find due to the building work in the area, but the hotel is clean, comfortable bed and good breakfast included. Would use again if in area, now that we have found it

Clean room good breakfast all good only issue was car park not open and I had not been informed but local carpark at £6 for overnight parking

I was badly disturbed by the people in the room next door trying the handle and lock of the adjoining door to my room. It was really scary and unpleasant even though I knew they couldn’t get in. Reception were very good, they tried to contact the room occupants and they came to see me to offer reassurance, which was very much appreciated. However the experience left me feeling nervous and I didn’t sleep well. Which was not good as I had an important work meeting in the morning. Can I suggest the handles and locking mechanisms of these adjoining doors are fixed when locked so they can’t be rattled like that. It went on for several minutes, so they didn’t just try it then leave it alone…. I was really frightened
