カウンタースタッフの女性が不親切。バスタブの栓がなくて困ったと伝えたら、明日の朝の７時に渡すと言われて呆れた。

スタッフの対応が素晴らしかった

部屋も広く、清潔感もあり、全体的にとても満足でしたが、建物、内装などクラシックでとても素敵なのに、インテリアの一部をモダン寄りにしようとしていることに勿体無さと違和感を感じました。（例えば朝食の部屋の照明や椅子など）水回りは別としても、他はクラッシックに全振りして欲しいです。 あと、なぜか朝洗面、シャワーがお湯しか出なくなり洗顔が大変でした。散歩後には水も出るようになっていました。 朝食は最高です！ メニューからイングリッシュブラックファスト、エッグベネディクト等から選べるだけでなく、イギリスのパンケーキやパン、フルーツなどを自分で取りに行くこともできました。 全て美味しく大満足でした。 機会があればまた泊まりたいと思います。

非常に雰囲気の良い宿でした。朝食のサービスも充実しています。心残りはラウンジのバーを利用し損ねたことです。 拙い英語でもしっかりと聞いていただき、大変素晴らしいスタッフの方々でした。

This was truly a wonderful place to stay, excellent breakfast, fabulous location, it set the bar high for our European trip!

Great petite queen room (#22) with terrific view of Dean’s Village. We stayed May 1-4 and though the weather was chilly (lows in the upper 30’s) the temperature in the room was made perfect with the window cracked. One warning, the tile on the bathroom floor is very slick. The library on the first floor (actually the second) is a wonderful place to enjoy a quiet moment. The concierge was both the barkeep and in charge of checking folks into their rooms on the first night, but she had a lovely attitude and was extremely helpful. The second night, the young man was not able to get a drink for us (didn’t explain why), suggesting we go to their sister property next door. They don’t have any playing cards or games in the bar or library. The made-to-order breakfast, served in the beautiful dining room is supplemented with an extensive continental spread. The location is quiet, an easy walk to dinner in New Town. We were able to walk to High Street in Old Town in less than 20 minutes. We took an Uber to and from Waverley (it is too far to walk lugging suitcases, but would have taken the bus to the nearest stop had we been more organized). I will definitely stay here, again.

Jättetrevlig personal! Tyvärr var jag ju där för att sova och det var fruktansvärt lyhört. Fick ett rum under receptionen och hörde varje steg de tog. När någon gick utanför hördes det som att de var i samma rum. Jättetråkigt. Hotellet var fullt så kunde inte byta även om peraonalen försökte lösa.

Room was clean and staff was excellent. Room overlooked beautiful architecture. Highly recommend. Whimsical library and staircase.

I had a very enjoyable 3 day stay. The room & shower were as expected. Higher floor rooms get great views! Breakfast was not huge but very good and you can choose a dish.

Supercentralt, otroligt vacker byggnad, sköna sängar, jättetrevlig personal. Bästa boendet vi bodde på i Skottland. Rekommenderar verkligen att boka här. Med vänlig hälsning, Annie

breakfast was fine but nothing special ,the hotel staff were all very helpful ,the bar is quiet but service for the bar is available but you have to find someone . the hotel looks amazing the hotel rooms are large but on cupboard space for clothes and the rooms could use a major dusting , but great views , not perfect , but I would stay there again

We had a absolutely wonderful stay. The bed was super comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and the building itself was beautiful. We're definitely going to come back. Word of advice to guests: being in your room does not mean other people can't hear you. Please be considerate of others around you and don't slam things around and speak at top volume. Especially early in the morning or late at night.

Excellent location with affordable cost

We had a lovely warm room with a good view over Dean Village. Lovely deep bath to enjoy a luxurious soak after a day walking round Edinburgh’s sights. Breakfast was served in the wonderful surroundings of the oak panelled dining room.

Shower was poor, but room had a lovely view
